"Hey Jungkook, do you want to go eat lamb skewers?"
"Ah, hyung. I ate ramen with Jin hyung and Jimin hyung... What about Hoseok hyung?"
"Hey, when did you last eat ramen?" Yoongi muttered in a slurred voice. He looked for Hoseok, but he couldn't find him. He approached Namjoon and Seokjin in the living room. Seokjin, who had been lying on the sofa looking at his phone, sat up and stretched when Yoongi approached.
"Hey Yoongi, what's going on? Jungkook isn't going to eat lamb skewers?"
Seokjin, who must have heard what Yoongi was saying in the hallway, spoke first, saying, "Should I go with my hyung?" He then slumped further on the sofa, appealing that he wouldn't go. Namjoon, who was reading a book next to him, chuckled at Seokjin's reaction, put the book down for a moment, and then spoke.
"Isn't Hoseok going?"
"Hoseok wasn't in the room?"
"Did you go to the studio?" Namjoon tilted his head once and resumed reading. Yoongi, seeing this, ran his fingers through his hair and looked for Taehyung one last time, but Jungkook told him he'd gone to work out, so he went back to his room and grabbed his coat.
"Yoongi going alone?"
"Yes, well. It's in front."
“Have a nice meal,” Yoongi said, leaving Seokjin behind and going into a nearby lamb skewer restaurant.
Since I often eat alone, I told the waiter who asked how many people were there that I was alone, and then went into a corner cubicle and sat down.
I sat with my back to the entrance in case anyone recognized me, but I ended up facing the person sitting at the next table diagonally.
I glanced at him for a moment, wondering if he was alone, and when our eyes met, I pulled my hat down a little more and placed my order with the employee who came in next.
While waiting, I was fiddling with my phone, which didn't have much to look at, when suddenly I heard someone telling me not to bite my nails, so I looked over in bewilderment.
" ..yes? "
"It's just me and that other person here. Are you talking to me?" Yoongi stared at his fingernails for a moment, then raised his head slightly at the sound of the voice again and looked at her.
"That.. during the live.. I was trying to fix my nail biting habit... Ah, I'm not a sasaeng or anything, I'm just.. Ah.. I'm sorry.. "
Seeing her voice sound like it was about to burst into tears, Yoongi felt even more flustered and wondered what was happening. Before he could say anything, a waiter came in and brought him food. While the food was being prepared, Yoongi, having assessed the situation, spoke first.
"Are you... an ARMY? I came in later, but you're some kind of sasaeng. I didn't think of it that way."
Why was he so worried? Yoongi pondered for a moment, wondering if he had ever shown such a behavior when interacting with fans.
She said that she was a fan and that he was handsome in real life while sobbing, and an awkward smile came out of her mouth at those words.
Don't cry. Yoon-gi, who didn't know how to comfort someone who was crying, fidgeted and just touched the back of his neck. When she burst into a small laugh at that, he felt a little relieved.
I've seen many fans cry in front of me at fan signing events and concerts, but this was the first time I'd seen one so unprepared, so I was even more flustered.
She must have felt embarrassed too, because she told me to hurry up and eat, and she also picked up a lamb skewer and started eating.
Yun-gi was carefully placing lamb skewers and shrimp on the rack when he looked up at the sudden movement in front of him.
She was putting on her coat as if she was going out, and Yoongi opened his mouth cautiously, wondering if he had made her uncomfortable by sitting there for no reason.
"Is this happening because of me?"
"Oh.. no! I ate it all!"
She waved her hand and said she was done, then trailed off, saying she'd probably start rambling if she had any more. Yoongi thought it was too late to say something like that, but a smile escaped his lips.
She said goodbye with a fan service smile and a sincere smile, and checked to see if the meat was cooked well. Before she left, she whispered at the entrance that Sugar was the best and left the room with quick steps.
Yoon-gi silently smiled with his mouth wide open at the sight of her saying everything she wanted to say despite looking embarrassed, but she disappeared without seeing him.
