10. Lucid dreaming

I just walked down the long, winding road, blankly. Eventually, I entered a tunnel, and the sounds of cars and the city died down. The scent of the forest and the chirping of birds filled the air. The sound brought me back to my senses, and I looked up to see a door, seemingly endless, large enough for me to enter. As if possessed, I entered it, and the vast fields and the gentle breeze—everything was perfect. Slowly, I stepped forward, soft grass clung to my feet, and as I lowered my head in a ticklish sensation, I heard a voice.

"Hello, I just saw you."

"...who is this?"

"I'm the one who's been waiting for you, the owner of this place. Do you like it? I hope you're happy now."

I dozed off for a moment, then glanced out the window and saw the beautiful purple Milky Way and twinkling stars. It was a strange, yet enchanting sight, something I'd never seen before. Yeoju, lost in thought, came to her senses and pondered the situation. "Where am I?" She was clearly on the academy bus, so she was on her way home. It felt a little strange, after all, the bus was pure white. As I pondered this, the bus picked up speed. The scenery was rapidly changing. A garden full of flowers I'd never seen before, babies greeting me. I stared blankly outside, feeling as if I'd entered a fantasy world.

"This stop is Irick Gordon, Irick Gordon. If you're getting off, please get off at the door on the right."

"Have a nice trip. Be careful not to get lost."

ㄴ I think this would be best as a short story..
