“Why not? Love is something you do with someone you like.”
The little boy said:
“I like Jiho. I like Jiho. Why doesn’t society recognize my love? Seriously, why do I need society’s approval? Isn’t it enough for Jiho and I to be happy together? We’re dating because we like each other. Why should other people’s opinions matter?”
The boy shouted at everyone, asking why men couldn't love each other.
“Dating men is wrong! It’s dirty!”
Pook-
“Why do people of the same sex fall in love? You’re so weird.”
Pook-
“Oh, that’s disgusting! Don’t come near me!”
Pook-
“If she likes a guy, doesn’t that mean she likes me? I really don’t like it.”
Phew-
Words sharper than the blades of newly bought scissors or the blades of a finely honed knife pierced the small boy and tore at his heart.
Why am I not recognized? Why are there limits to liking people? Who created those limits? Or, were there even such limits in the first place?
I didn't understand anything. I didn't understand. I just liked someone, that's all. Why was I being discriminated against and ignored? Why was our love being trampled on? It was absurd, but it was all just because we were of the same sex.
“You are not normal.”
Kwaang!
The sound of something colliding and collapsing inside was transmitted to the ends of my brain.
Ah, no more… .
“What’s not normal? What’s not normal? Why are you guys saying anything about what I love? You have no right to criticize and trample on who I love. What’s so great about you? Why ignore the fact that I like the opposite sex? You’re abnormal, criticizing and belittling others with lame excuses. Do you understand?”
Thump-
Tears flowed from the little boy's eyes. They were blacker than the lonely, starless night sky.

Dizzying writing.
There's nothing wrong with liking someone of the same sex. It's the person who thinks this way who is wrong.
