In silence
Buried/
Yeoju Lee, her face soaked with a liquid she couldn't quite identify—tears or sweat—had just received a breakup notice. The cold raindrops pitter-pattered, soaking her clothes. Blood trickled from a slightly torn wound, perhaps from biting her lip too hard, but she ignored it and ran. Unsure of where she was going, she simply kept running. The thought that her destination might not be so pleasant kept swirling through her mind. What should I do? She couldn't handle it without him. Her running, running, seemed to spur the ceaseless flow of tears, and the farther she got from him, the wetter her face became. A silent waterfall poured from her eyes. She slowly sank into silence, burying herself in her own tears. Only the occasional flicker of a streetlight seemed to indicate her destination. Into that great silence, into the darkness where no one can find you.
Even while being buried in silence
Only his smile lingered in my mind.

I ran so long that my stamina was completely depleted and I collapsed on the bench next to me, gasping for breath.
'Tiring ringing ...
I looked at my phone as it rang loudly and it was a call from my best friend, Kim Taehyung. I waited silently for the ringing to stop, but the sound didn't stop, so I ended up answering the phone.
"Hey, Yeoju, I know it's hard for you to break up."
"Fuck, I'm so fucking sorry."
I apologized and hung up, swearing profusely. The phone rang again, but no one answered.
If I accept it again, I feel like I'll regain my current crazy mind and the will to live that I've lost.
After hanging up, my breathing quickly returned to normal. Damn it, this filthy world is over today. With that thought in mind, I'll try my best to see it through before then, I slowly took in my breath and looked around. Perhaps because it was night, there were only a few people around, and even though the sun had set, a faint glow lingered, but the sky was dark due to dark clouds. The lights on on each floor of the upright buildings. Looking around, I felt my will to live returning. I lowered my head to the floor, and the shadows of my hunched shoulders and drooping hair soaked the ground faster than rain.
The water barely soaked the floor, barely rising. The ripples above reflected memories of him, washed away by rain and tears. Even in the intricately tangled, crashing waves, memories of him were clearly visible. Overcome by an unbearable longing, she finally knelt in it. With a dull thud, the pooled rainwater splashed in all directions. However, the splattered marks were easily erased by the water pouring down, whether from the sky or from her eyes. Driven mad, she laughed heartily at the sky. Ahahahahaha! She laughed like one of those wicked women in fairy tales. It was said that no one had seen her miserable appearance since.

"Hey, Yeoju, I know it's hard for you to break up."
"Fuck, I'm so fucking sorry."
After the call ended, Yeoju didn't answer. Worried, I kept calling, but all I could hear was the ringtone, not her voice. After about 30 minutes, I slowly realized the gravity of the situation, so I quickly put on my coat and stormed out the door. I searched everywhere she might be—the park in front of my house, the bridge, everywhere—but she wasn't there. Where the hell is Yeoju? I cursed and ran here and there, searching for her. As I ran around like that, a thought suddenly occurred to me.
'I first met Minhyun here, so whenever we fight or are in a bad mood, I come here and think about that day.'
Of all places, I had to meet Hwang Min-hyun on the rooftop of a high school. Fearing something might happen, I rushed to the high school without a second thought. Arriving there, catching my breath, I saw her. Her hair and clothes were a mess, soaked with rainwater, and she was so damaged that I wouldn't have recognized her. She was so crazy that I could tell her heart was probably even more broken than her exterior. Her face, hidden beneath her wet, tangled hair, must have held a dual expression. Her mouth was smiling, but tears were streaming down her face. I cautiously approached her and placed my umbrella over her. Then, she burst into laughter. Ahahahahaha! Like the villainess of old tales driven mad by instinct, her eyes had long since lost focus as she laughed.
"..lol..why did you come?"
"Lee Yeo-ju, let's go home."
"Pfft...Pfft!"
"The bus has already left"
With those ominous words, she stormed off without a moment's hesitation. Before I could even catch her, she was perched on the rooftop railing, a sight that was dizzying. I knew that if I didn't grab her, her true destination would be the deep darkness, the silent silence, so I ran towards her. Then, perhaps finding my presence amusing, she laughed again, and, almost as if she'd found me funny, she pulled me close and spoke to me.
"Lastly, I'm so sorry for looking so ugly, and thank you."
Just as I was about to scream, "No," she let go of my collar. Unable to stop her from quickly being sucked into darkness, into silence, I could only watch with trembling pupils. As she was being sucked in, she smiled and said her final goodbye. Seeing her, I, driven mad, laughed and said goodbye too.

With a dull thud, she was buried in silence. She was buried in the endless darkness. On the cold floor, in that endless silence, she fell asleep with a final smile. Her mind, which believed without a doubt that this was all a dream, was convulsing, but her body was convulsing.
It's clearly suicide
Her suicide was orchestrated by others.
Is it her fault or his?
