Stell interrupted my reading. I was already deep in thought.
"Huh? There's music already?" I replied. Shouldn't it be next week?
"Yes. They're listening now, oh," he said, pointing at Josh and Justin who were nodding and Ken who was already swaying to the beat of the music.
I approached them and listened too. The beat was lively, the mix was good. It was fun.
"Sejun, I have an idea," Justin said. "Why don't we make this an upbeat love song? Our fans will definitely like it."
Upbeat love song? Good idea. But how do I start?
"You okay, bro?" Ken asked when he noticed my daze. I looked at him and nodded.
"Yeah. I like the idea, Justin," I said. They were happy and continued listening to the instrumental again.
I went back to the corner where I was sitting and thought deeply. How could I write a love song if you were the last person I loved?
I approached Stell. "Dre, I don't know how to start this. Justin's idea is great but I don't know how to start it."
Stell thought. Then she smiled. "How did you feel when you loved him? I know I know what I'm talking about."
How is it? What did I feel when I was with you?
It was burning. Burning like fire. You are the strangest woman I have ever met. You are an obsession, a dream.
Every fiber of my being is on fire because I don't know how to get you. I felt like only your embrace could put out that fire.
I didn't realize I was already smiling and if Stell hadn't pinched me, I wouldn't have noticed.
"Nice smile. I'm sure you can write that. You're welcome," he said as he walked over to the other three members of our group.
I sat down and began to paint the feelings I felt when I met you using the words I couldn't say.
It's beautiful. The song I'm composing is beautiful but it hurts. It still hurts because the Flame of my life, it can only be with me in my song.
