Somehow in a relationship
W. Dingdongdang
"Now, everyone, start organizing. If you think you're running out of time, you can come back and do some more research by next time."
As seventh period was drawing to a close, the teacher clapped and spoke to get our attention. Hearing those words, I finally felt a sense of relief. Even breathing was difficult with Jeon Jungkook sitting right next to me.
But the problem starts now. If Jeon Jungkook ever needs to contact me, and tries to, the call logs from that time could easily surface. To stop that worst from happening, this moment is our last chance.
I quickly glanced at the teacher and Jeon Jungkook before turning off my phone. I was planning on borrowing Jeon Jungkook's phone because mine was dead and unusable.
“Uh… I’m really sorry, Jungkook! My phone died… I need to contact someone urgently. Can I borrow it just once?”
You might be thinking, "Why me?" But Jeon Jungkook surprisingly obediently handed over his phone and thankfully looked away. I worried he'd be staring at me, but it turned out to be a good thing. Just delete the call log and the apology text I sent, and it'll be completely hidden.
Glancing at Jeon Jungkook from the corner of my eye, I first went into the phone app and searched for my number. Then, I noticed the contact saved as "3-4 Kim Yeo-ju." I tapped the message screen and successfully deleted the apology text I'd sent. Now that the urgent matter was out of the way, I could just calmly delete the call log.
“Now, let’s put our phones aside, say goodbye, and be done with it.”
Just as I was about to erase myself from my numerous call logs, the teacher's words blocked my path. Hearing the teacher's words, Jeon Jungkook looked down at his phone and at me with a look that implored him to hurry.
“Here… well written, thanks.”
At my words, Jeon Jungkook smiled the same smile he had shown during the video call and reached out to take my phone as well.

“Since I’m going to pay anyway, I’ll pay it all at once.”
In an attempt to manage his image, he took all the cell phones of all the group members, including me, and placed them in a cell phone bag on the desk.
As I listened to Subin grumbling about why I was giving up my phone since it was the last period anyway, I put my desk back and sat down at my seat. I couldn't delete the call log from Jeon Jungkook's phone, but I was glad I deleted the messages. I don't know about messages, but it's rare for someone to carefully check each and every call log.
“Ah, thank goodness.”
The thought of being able to practice after school with a light heart brought a smile to my face.
After a quick after-school practice, I returned home chatting with Yewon, completely unaware of who might be in the house.
