Pledis High School—a government-funded institution created to foster gifted and naturally talented students from across the country.
“Excuse me… where’s the office for the second-year teachers?”
Eun-ji had completely lost her way in the vast school grounds.
She looked around, then approached a boy who had his tie slightly crooked and a lollipop in his mouth, despite wearing his uniform properly.
“It’s that way,”
he said, pointing to the right.
The boy, who had just woken up late and was rushing to class, was Jihoon.
Eun-ji glanced at his name tag and smiled brightly.
“Thanks, Jihoon.”
Jihoon watched her walk off until she disappeared from view.
Then he murmured to himself,

“…Her voice sounded like a girl’s, though.”
Eventually, Eun-ji found the second-year teachers' office.
After a deep breath, she knocked and stepped inside.
There, Vice Principal Seok-hoon helped assign her duties.
“Everyone, this is Jung Min-gi, who’ll be joining us as a new teacher.”
“Hello, I’m Jung Min-gi. I may be inexperienced, but I’ll do my best. I’m looking forward to working with you.”
“Here’s the class list you’ll be in charge of. Try to memorize their names and faces as soon as you can.”
“Understood.”
“This USB contains materials from their previous homeroom teacher. It’s all the data on the Seventeen Class.”
(He hands her the USB.)
“Thank you.”
Before her first class, Eun-ji opened the files on her laptop and began memorizing the students' names and photos.
When she saw Jihoon—the boy who gave her directions—she blinked in surprise.
Seok-hoon, noticing her reaction, commented:
“Oh? That kid?”
“He’s a genius. Discovered by the government itself.”
“…A genius?”
“He’s amazing at composing music, and he sings well too. He’s the most promising student in Seventeen Class. You’ll want to guide him well, Mr. Jung.”
“Yes, of course.”
Pledis High School was designed to nurture talent—
each class was carefully formed based on the students’ unique strengths,
and the school aimed to develop them into future artists.
Though Eun-ji was a complete rookie,
she had just been entrusted with a class of 17 boys—all on her own.
She glanced down at the class roster.
At the top, in bold letters:
# SEVENTEEN
Will she be able to lead all 17 of them safely...?
