"Jesus!" she said as soon as she opened her eyes.
"It's Yoongi, princess! Whoever this Jessy is, he's not here!" I said jokingly, just to tease him a little.
"Well, who are you and what did you do with my adorable Suga?" she said, stretching like a cat.
"I'm hungry, Baby, but I've been a good boy and waited until you woke up," I said, fluttering my eyelashes a little, and she laughed.
- Okay, what do you want?
- Hot pancakes, please.
Baby's P/V:

I realized he tried to do it on his own, but you need both hands to prepare even a little. I made them Japanese-style, so they turned out very fluffy and large. He liked it when I told him to eat them directly with his hands; it would be easier for him that way. I was about to put on some music when the lawyer called.
I got dressed and cleaned the house very quickly. We talked because it was best to have a document written down to end this whole situation before the public found out. The lawyer had previously spoken with the guy to see what he wanted, and it was a lot, everything imaginable, plus a lot of money. I don't care if he's not tried as long as there's a record that he assaulted me... and at least he agrees to go to therapy for his behavior.
He was one of those guys who repeat the same thing or worse until he ends up in jail, and I can't even imagine him running free doing whatever he wants, because it's better for the company than to report him properly to the fullest extent.
Suga's lips were a thin line; he'd probably had to accept something like this in the past, with all the crazy people out there.
But I doubt anyone has mistreated him like they mistreated me, a bodyguard who hadn't even been with us for two days. I didn't bother dressing up much, knowing he chose to have treatment to avoid a police record; that would limit his chances of working for other companies if he had reports of misconduct toward a client, especially if a celebrity was present and called the police to arrest him.

I needed a little self-confidence to go out looking so hurt, but I didn't want to hide what he had done to me from the judge, the one who would end this whole process and sign the agreement. I told them I wanted to walk a bit and that they could wait for me there. I knew that guy wasn't trustworthy and would try to tarnish Yoongi's image simply because I willingly accepted his company.
They barely allowed me to; the lawyer was waiting for me at the door while Yoongi was already inside talking to the judge about what had happened. Then it was the bodyguard's turn to stop him as he fled the house, because I had called for help and knew that Yoongi was downstairs, even though he couldn't confront him if necessary.
That unpleasant man didn't know help was already on the way, because his behavior had been diligently reported. By the time it was my turn... I went in and was ordered to sit in a chair. He was in a corner, smiling broadly, because even though he didn't get any money this time, he was free to roam the streets and do whatever he pleased.
That makes me feel uneasy because out there, any woman could fall in love with a guy like that, because he was tall and not so ugly as to scare anyone away.
I answered all the judge's questions. He wasn't happy with the agreement because there were many things that helped prove we were telling the truth. He also wanted to see my face to assess for himself the type of blow I received from the person who was supposed to protect me and Yoongi, who was also a vulnerable person because of his injury.
The judge finally accepted the agreement because it requires medical treatment and ensured that it would be done at a clinic that would take it very seriously and report on his condition. He said he would send the documents to our lawyer when they were ready. I left the place with the lawyer accompanying me to the location where I would meet Yoongi again.
We quickly set off to leave that damned house and visit Taehyung's parents' family before catching a plane. Yoongi didn't know I wouldn't be returning to Seoul with him. The company arranged another place where we could be together safely and with opportunities to be outdoors, because we had been forcibly confined since Yoongi checked into the hospital for surgery. It had already been more than a week since then.
Suga's P/V:

I wanted to kill that bastard. I was so proud of getting out of this with just a few talks to a doctor, because he really didn't think it was necessary to seek help. When she left the judge's office, I wanted to run after her and hug her, but she just looked at me with her beautiful eyes before hiding them behind dark sunglasses and continuing on her way without stopping.
The bodyguard was standing next to me and told me it was best if we left. I was about to say something to him when the idiot started talking about how she was still innocent in this situation. We left him rambling about how I hadn't been man enough and that's why she trusted me so much, like sharing... between girls, he said. I really wanted to turn around and beat him to a pulp, but we kept going until we got to the black car. As soon as the door closed, everything but nice things started pouring out of our mouths. We agreed that the security team was going to have to keep an eye on him because he was sure to still be after her, knowing that no one had touched her. Well, we hadn't done anything to change that evidence, but it was enough for that bastard, just knowing that detail about Baby. We agreed not to tell her what he said to us, because then she'd know, like we did, that he'd try to sleep with her the next time he got the chance.
We left the utility building and went to a restaurant. We noticed someone was following us, so she called her boss. We ate there, where Baby was waiting for us, until we went into the garage where the guard left me alone with her to go find out who was following our car.
"I'm sorry, Baby," I said, about to take her hand, and she handed me a glass of wine, asking if I'd chosen well, while the waiter prepared to serve us. As soon as we were alone, she straightened up from her seat to lean in and give me a quick kiss on the lips.
"Thank you for that kiss," I said softly.
"When you arrived, I thought World War III had started, knowing you waited until my interview was over... Am I right to think you were just unlucky enough to see him enjoying himself because he didn't get a police report for hitting me? He probably said some nasty things about me; he was smiling the moment he saw me arrive... I think he'll try something again simply because I only have eyes for you." It was nice to hear that he only had eyes for me, but it also made me wonder how much protection I could offer him from guys like that.
I didn't answer that; she barely ate but drank all the wine. I never imagined seeing her drinking like that. On the way to the house to pick up our things, she didn't seem comfortable, and I hadn't expected her to be so unfriendly. When we arrived at Taehyung's family's house for a quick visit, she was very polite and had covered everything with makeup. We left the gifts Taehyung had put in my suitcase for me to give to his family.
At the airport I found out that she wasn't coming back with me. Baby was going to Yangyang to live in a cabin in the mountains, and although she wasn't thrilled about the idea of the separation, she had already made her decision.

Taehyung was waiting for us. He noticed Baby's absence because she wasn't clinging to me. I greeted him as usual, and we hurried to the car. The guard carried our luggage both at the airport and when we arrived at the building where we'll be living. We waited in the car until no one noticed our unexpected presence.
I would have liked to be with her tonight, but I couldn't do anything; they had decided to do an activity for the group tomorrow in which I should participate. They also filmed me singing "Life Goes On" dressed completely in white. It didn't take me too long since I can't take off the sling whenever I feel like it.
I had sent her many messages but it didn't seem enough, I left her alone at an airport on her way to who knows where in the middle of nowhere, alone, she would arrive in the middle of the night... that was driving me crazy.
The boys panicked when I told them Baby had to take care of herself, who knows exactly where. The only reason they gave me was that it was a vacation spot and they very kindly offered to pick her up at the airport. I was beyond annoyed that they told me everything at the last minute when it was too late to do anything about it.

I had to wait before I could travel again; the doctor would examine me and finish removing the remaining stitches before my rest period in the sling ended, followed by an evaluation to see if I was fit to begin arm mobility treatment so it could heal completely and achieve the best possible outcome.
Being away is hard; the guys sometimes ignored me because I was being a jerk. I couldn't work in peace, no one could change my constant bad mood, and sometimes the hardest part was simply not being able to contact her whenever I wanted.
Taehyung’s P/V:

"I texted Baby. She's feeling a bit lonely because we're the only ones trying to keep in touch with her, and we can't tell him. He might leave without permission. He's always been good at long-distance relationships, but this time I'm worried," Jimin told me while we ate. Yoongi was staying in his room for days at a time, and Hobi or Namjoon were the only ones who still dared to go in there.
"I think he learned the difference after being with her 24/7... taking such good care of him. He's even started laughing a lot, and it reminds me... of how he acts when Holly or the other pets are around," Jimin commented.
"Well, she's not some creature we can just get him to cuddle with and take away his frustrations. Did you know that Baby had the confidence to declare her love for him?" Jungkook said after his shower, before joining us for dinner.
We couldn't believe it, and I asked how he knew that. She told JK herself without hesitation. She also said she hadn't expected Yoongi to give her an answer; she felt good about loving him. She really was a good girl, kind to everyone, caring... my family had a very good first impression of her.
"He's trying to learn to sing on his own, but he has to be careful because every time he does it, he ends up losing his voice... He often asks me for advice or easier songs to start with. I've seen his coach's videos... In video calls, you can see his voice cutting in and out while he's just trying to talk to me," Jungkook explained, adding that he hadn't known Jungkook was so diligent on his own.
- When we talk, he likes to practice his Japanese with me, and sometimes he sends me pictures from the cabin - I told them, showing them.

- I think she just likes listening to me talk nonstop, she doesn't think I'm wrong in the way I interpret things and she shares clips of the choreographies she prepares for the development of her small agency - Baby may have been confined but she was another little workaholic like us, that's what I thought when I heard my friend Jimin.
"Sounds like Baby's the topic of conversation again..." Jin said as he went to sit down and get his food. I asked him what he was talking about with her.
...cooking recipes, Yoongi's mother has apparently been teaching her too, but she always asks me for help when she's not sure she's doing it right, and she also translates my memes, it's fun...

It was funny, no one could contain their laughter.
"What's so funny?" Hoseok asked, followed by Namjoon, and we showed him the meme.
"Wait, what's this supposed to say?" Namjoon asks, because his face appears in it.
- Ah, that one... it blew my mind when he explained it to me...

Namjoon started coughing after he fully understood the meaning.
"People are really good at editing things, look at the pictures they chose... it's really fun, I'm going to ask him if he's seen any good ones of me," Hoseok said.
"And what do you guys talk about with her?" I asked.
"Me? Books, exercises to improve my coordination, she recommended I practice ballet to have better control of my body and strength," Namjoon said, but he wasn't enthusiastic about the idea.
"I talk to her about music to see what we like, and my sister is totally obsessed with meeting her in person. They became friends easily... they're equally crazy and equally sweet," Hoseok said.

"It seemed strange to me that he never asked about Suga, but he said they talked on the phone enough to ask his questions directly," Jin said, and we'd all been thinking the same thing lately.
"She's quite unique, her girlfriends always interrogated us to try and win her over," Jungkook said. He liked that it was this way; he didn't think it was right that they involved us because Yoongi didn't express his feelings and most of them weren't good.
"Yes, but the thing is, she really likes him, and he's procrastinating in his room instead of going to ask her to be his girlfriend... If he keeps acting like this even though she constantly confirms her feelings, what will he do when she gets bored of it?... Or what if he decides to focus his attention on someone who gladly reciprocates her feelings... even though he's desperate to get permission to go see her," Namjoon said.
"We can't force him to rush into accepting her either; she must feel pretty lucky because he already kissed her again," Hoseok said. "She dropped a bombshell on us by saying he decided to keep his distance that night... when Namjoon made that video call and Baby looked all sexy in those pajamas, the night before they were separated. Maybe he missed his chance to ask her out... and now he's desperate to go find her wherever she is... but later she told me his charm worked a little that night. I don't have the details, but he replied to my message with two purple devil emojis," Hoseok commented as we continued chatting about it over dinner.
