Take away the devil: Take it away from me

The Third Record

Today, in the pitch-black sky, the full moon was shining brightly, and under the darkness, Chanbyeol and his disciples, who had completed the exorcism ceremony relying solely on the light of the full moon, immediately washed their radiance clean and laid down in their beds.
Several layers of opaque fabric were stacked on top of the gloss.

The disciples carefully lit the candles one by one and began to bow. After the bowing, the disciples put on their masks, sat in a circle around Chanbyeol and Yungi, and chanted an unknown exorcism spell.

His head gradually lowered, and Chanbyeol lifted Yoongi, who was lying down, and sat him down. Chanbyeol faced Yoongi and began calling out the ghosts one by one. There were ghosts who held out until the end, but Chanbyeol relieved them of their resentment and opened the way for them to go.

The moment Chanbyeol sensed something in Yunki's body, Yunki collapsed and Chanbyeol flinched. The boy and girl from Yunki's body had transferred to Chanbyeol and possessed him. The disciples, realizing this, began beating the gongs and janggu even more vigorously.
As the sound of the gong and janggu grew louder, Chanbyeol writhed in pain, and after continuing to writhed, he collapsed.

Yoon-ki showed no signs of waking up as if he had fainted, and soon Chan-byeol got up from his seat as if drawn by something. The boy and girl who had been in Yoon-ki's body had moved into Chan-byeol's body and were completely possessed, and Chan-byeol ran to his disciple who was playing the janggu and spoke quietly as if humming.

''I'm going to live with this guy.''

Then the disciple spoke firmly to the possessed Chanbyeol and began to play the janggu more loudly.

''No, you have to go.''

After the boy appears, the girl is possessed by Chanbyeol and speaks to him.

"Oppa, listen to me well. I'd rather live with my older sister than my younger brother."

After the girl spoke, the disciple who was playing the gong started playing it even more vigorously, and Chanbyeol covered his ears with both hands as if he didn't want to hear it and started spinning around in place.

Chanbyeol suddenly stopped in his tracks, ran outside, and began vomiting, making a disgusting noise. The disciples realized that this was evidence that the ghost had escaped, and continued to beat the janggu and gong.

Soon, Yoon-gi stood up and glanced at Chan-byeol. To others, he might have seemed normal, but to Chan-byeol, it wasn't. As Yoon-gi started laughing like a crazy person, Chan-byeol immediately signaled to his disciples, who nodded at him. The sound of the gong and janggu grew louder as time passed.

They sat around Yoon-gi and continued to chant exorcisms to the background of loud gongs and janggu. Every time the chant continued, Yoon-gi rolled around on the floor and screamed in agony.

As the loud sounds of gongs and janggu, along with painful screams, continued to echo from Chanbyeol's shrine, people began to gather and whisper. Some simply glanced past, as if they were used to it, while others held the gate as if they were about to enter the shrine and watched. However, Chanbyeol and his disciples continued their exorcism ritual, paying no attention to the attention.

"Tsk tsk... A ghost entering my body..."

“Hey, what are you looking at?”

“Look over there! Isn’t Chanbyeol, the famous shaman in this village, performing an exorcism right now?”

"That kid... isn't that Yoon-gi from the Min family?"
