The female protagonist and the two men turned their heads toward the sound. The man, who had raised his arm in a moment, hesitated and lowered it, and the female protagonist felt relief at the sight of his face.

A few minutes later, Soonyoung, Jeonghan, and Seungcheol all gathered in that order, where Yeoju and Mingyu were. They were all gasping for breath, as if they had rushed there.
“What… Did the female lead cry?”
“He was so surprised that he cried when he saw me.”
Min-gyu answered instead, and then Jeong-han opened his mouth.
“So, explain what happened. We need to know.”
Min-gyu checked on Yeo-ju's condition and told her what he saw first. When he found Yeo-ju, one of the boys was about to hit her, but luckily he was able to stop him from hitting her because he noticed it then. Fortunately, it wasn't too late, so Yeo-ju wasn't seriously harmed.
While Min-gyu spoke, Yeo-ju also calmed down to some extent and told him everything that had happened to her. She had clearly told him no, but he had still forcefully taken her along, and she had been spared from harm thanks to Min-gyu's presence just as he was threatening her.
