The light in life

"Good child"

There's a feeling of wanting to break free from something that's been restrained for too long.

Forced to live a life they dislike, like a balloon being pulled along, outwardly smiling, but inwardly shrouded in darkness.

The balloon will be released, and so will he break free of his cage. The mask of the "good boy" will crack.
