Dog Choi Seung-cheol, dog Choi Han-sol
About two months after I started living with Kwon Soon-young, the fox, I was 22 years old when I was running home in the rain without an umbrella after playing with my friends late into the night.
I saw them in the alley where the fox and I first met—or rather, where Kwon Soon-young and I first met. Two golden retriever puppies were locked in a box, barking and barking. There was a note taped to the box, and seeing them reminded me of my first meeting with Kwon Soon-young, so I had no choice but to bring them home.

A fox ran out of the room as if it heard the door lock open.
He seemed startled to see me drenched in the rain. Kwon Soon-young, now in human form, retrieved a towel from the bathroom and personally wiped the moisture off my body. Just then, two puppies whined in frustration inside a box, and Soon-young opened the box I was holding, asking what it was.

"What is this... Where did you pick these up?"
"That alley back then..."
"Shouldn't I have brought you..?"
"That's not it, they're half-human and half-beast like me."
"What half-human, half-beast..?"
"You guys are half-human, half-beast?? "
As if trying to answer my question, two golden retriever puppies jumped down from the box onto the floor and then suddenly transformed into humans.
"Hello, human."
" ... "
This was the first meeting between Choi Seung-cheol and Choi Han-sol, half-human and half-beast golden retrievers.
