depart
On a hot summer day, the air conditioner was blasting. Despite the air conditioning, the three dogs were panting, their bellies on the floor, as if they were still hot. Jeonghan, who loves to snuggle up next to me, was also lying down near the air conditioner, looking like a cat, as if he was hot. The other kids were also lying on the floor instead of the sofa.
"Do you want to go out and play?"

In the blink of an eye, everyone washed up, changed clothes, left their luggage in front of the front door, and waited for me, who was in last place.
"But can we really all fit in one car?? "

I put my luggage in the trunk of an eight-seater car, but it didn't all fit, so I stacked it in the last three seats.
I sat in the second row, by the window, and Hansol, the dog, unfurled the middle seat and sat down. Mingyu sat in the front passenger seat. This time, Jeonghan, too, perched on my leg, and Seungkwan, the small hamster, perched on my shoulder.
Myeongho, a hedgehog, sat on the opposite window seat in human form due to his sharp quills. Sunyoung, a fox, sat on Myeongho's lap. Seokmin, a rabbit, nestled snugly in Hansol's arms alongside Chani, an otter. Junhwi, a fennec fox, sat comfortably on Seungcheol's lap, who was behind the wheel. The remaining three cats nestled amicably in Mingyu's arms.
Perhaps exhausted from the two-hour car ride, everyone except Seungcheol, Myeongho, and me, all fell asleep. I stroked Jeonghan's fur as he slept soundly on my leg. Myeongho stopped reading and looked at me.
"Oh, so cute."
"Greung..."
"Weren't you sleeping?"
"Yeah, I'm not sleepy. But don't you get carsick if you read a book in the car?"
"Yeah, I don't get motion sickness."
"Would you like to give me a copy?"Myungho

I headed to my destination, listening to the soothing song Seungcheol had chosen. Perhaps because of the soothing music, I gradually fell into a deep sleep.
