This love has a happy ending

Prologue. At the edge of the cliff

"I'm tired of accepting you now. Let's stop."

"What? If you go like that... What am I supposed to do... What am I supposed to do without you... Don't go, please..."

"Oh, really... so gross..."

And then I couldn't hold him back any longer.

The words 'scratching' were so painfully etched into my mind. Tears welled up in my eyes, but I quickly wiped them away and went home.

"Hey you bitch! Where have you been? Come crawling back now!?"
I quickly went into my room and locked the door, leaving behind my drunken father's words that were ringing in my ears. Otherwise, I would get beaten again. The room felt somehow empty. There was a note on the desk.

Mom, I'm going to go live somewhere else. If you're in middle school, I've held out long enough. You should be able to survive for about a month at a jjimjilbang with enough money. Now that you're old enough, figure it out and live well.

There was no time to resent my mother's harsh note. I quickly and secretly packed my bags and left. The dawn air was crystal clear.

Boom.

A teardrop fell onto my shoe. I knew this day would come, but I was just so sad. Why did it have to be today? I felt like I was standing on the edge of a cliff.

bean.

"Oh, really, I'm an idiot. I walk this path every day and I keep bumping into walls."

I was about to turn back, but there were beans again.

The shoes I finally noticed. And they were incredibly large. It felt too warm for a wall.

I was embarrassed and was about to turn back, but I got hit again.

"Oh my, it's rude to hit someone three times and then just leave. A suspicious runaway student who came out at dawn with his bags packed."

It was a warm voice. At least to me that day.
