It sucked. I wish someone, anyone, would kill me for me. Every night, I'd make a wish toward the distant moon. It never made things any better. Still, it was a kind of hardened pretense, a small consolation. When I was very young, I'd often recount stories I'd heard from the neighbors, even as a child. "The rabbit on the other side of the moon... If you're listening, would you please grant my fervent wish?"

Rich kids don't believe in rabbits on the far side of the moon. They didn't need to. They were always prosperous without believing in such trivial myths or begging from gods. That's why they didn't know hope. I will definitely prove the greatness of hope. Even that was a kind of hopeful resolve.
