Villain

Villain's Definition 2

-

The heroine's second power manifested only a few months ago. As it was manifesting, she intuitively knew: I was not ordinary, and I needed to join a special organization.

The heroine stood before the entrance to the special agency. As she tried to enter, security guards blocked her.

“Outsiders are not allowed to enter.”
“Oh, I want to engrave my name on a special agency. Where do I do that?”

Entering a special institution and going through the same process as admission is referred to here as "making a name." Once you're in a special institution, the main activities are studying, training, and missions. Missions are usually team-based, but sometimes individuals can go on missions. To do this, you must pass an annual exam. If you pass, your superiors will assign you either a team or an individual. Because life is at stake, the pay is substantial.

However, participation in this test is only possible for those with a level 4 or higher.

The reason this mission is necessary is because those who gain power come into the agency to use it for good, but there are those who aren't of that type. We call them villains, and as I mentioned earlier, we also know the people inside the agency as villains. In fact, their official name is psychic. However, because of the villains running wild outside, even the name psychic has become villain.

“You can get your name engraved in the building over there, Building 3.”
"thank you."

The female protagonist was walking towards the 3rd building that the bodyguard had mentioned earlier with an unidentifiable face.

“I came to engrave my name.”
“Please go into that room.”

Following the instructions of the guide inside the building, I entered a room with a name written on it. The wallpaper inside was entirely white, and a glass partition divided the space into two. Inside the glass window was a strange machine, and outside was a long desk with a computer and a bunch of unidentifiable scraps of paper strewn about.

After some time, a rather experienced-looking man in a white coat came in.

“You see the machine inside the window? Would you like to lie down there?”

As I lay down on the machine as the man said, the man did something on the computer and then the machine started moving as if it was exploring my body.

“Yes, it’s finished. You’ll have to wait about an hour for the results. Are you willing to wait?”
“Is there a place worth waiting for?”
“If you ask the guide, he’ll tell you where to find a cafe. Would you like to wait at the cafe?”
"Yeah, it doesn't matter."

After waiting at the cafe for about an hour and a half, a woman dressed in a suit stood in front of me.

“Are you Ms. Yoon Yeo-ju?”
“Yes, that’s right. What do you need?”
"I'm Seo Ji-hyun, the presidential secretary. Nice to meet you."
“...?”
“Can you please follow me?”
“I don’t have time.”
“The President wants to meet with you because he has something important to discuss.”
“.....”

The woman who introduced herself as the president's secretary was a bit suspicious, but she seemed to be explaining that the ID card hanging around her neck was real, so I followed her for the time being.

“Hello, you said your name was Yoon Yeo-ju, right?”
"hello"
“I called you to inform you of the results of the name engraving at the institution earlier.”
“Oh yeah”
"The heroine's abilities are two-tiered: primary and secondary. And they're quite high-tiered, with the primary being a level 2 and the secondary being a level 3."
“Yes, so what do you want to say?”
“Do you have a rough idea of how the organization works now?”
"yes"
"Then the conversation will be easy. I would like to request that you skip the test and come straight to the mission team."
