Episode 61. Jung-a and Su-yeon’s joint operation

We headed toward Hunji's car.

I followed behind Hunji,

repeating exclamations.






"Wow... Park Hunji is amazing!!"


"No way, how did you even think of that?"


"That presence is insane!!"






Hunji, who had been walking ahead, suddenly stopped.

And slowly turned back.





"Jung-ah."





"Yes?"

I froze.





"So you like men with presence?"



The corners of his mouth lifted slightly.





Even after getting into his car, I couldn't

shake off that lingering feeling for a while.





Hunji said as he started the engine.


"We're going out for dinner too."





"Your casual speech sounds really natural this time?"



I said with a laugh.





"This time?"


Hunji asked back.





"No... back then, when we were in class,

 before you came to my lesson,

 you were practicing casual speech by yourself, remember?"


"Huh."





Even after saying it, I was shocked too

and covered my mouth with my hand.





"What? You heard all that back then?"


Hunji's expression turned flustered.






"Ah... sorry.

 I was trying to pretend I didn't know..."


I hesitated for a moment, then went on.

 and it started bleeding."


I continued.


 "Back then, Hunji bought gauze and a bandage,

Hunji looked at me quietly.

After hearing his natural casual speech,

I realized that quite some time had passed.

 are you going to keep talking casually like that?"

"It's way too awkward..."






"Jung-ah, you need to get used to it."






"No... and I'm way older than you, too...

 isn't casual speech a little off?"






"Jung-ah. What do you want to eat?"





I burst out laughing at him.

And before I knew it, I pinched both his cheeks.






"Aww... you're just too cute!!"






"Ah... I told you not to do that!!

 Who does that to their boyfriend?"






"Sorry, sorry... I did it without thinking...

 you were just too cute..."





Hunji looked at me

as if he couldn't believe it.





I got embarrassed for no reason

and looked away.





"Let's get going first, Hunji.

 I'll look up somewhere nearby where we can have dinner."

We ate dinner





and parked the car at a park near our house.

While walking through the park,





I asked him quietly.

"Hunji.





 Did you talk to your older sister by any chance?"

"I said I'd handle that myself.





 Don't worry about it."

"If you haven't started the plan yet..."





I stopped speaking for a moment.


"I was talking it over with Sooyeon, and






 I got a few tips..."

"Tips? What kind?"






"If Hunji hasn't started yet,






 I was thinking I might try out this plan

 Sooyeon told me about."

"What is it?"






"Hunji, you haven't started yet, right?"






"Yeah."






"Then give me some time.






 Anyway, since it's because of me,

 I think it'd be better if I try to work on it."
 
"I hate the idea of you apologizing or anything like that






 when you didn't even do anything wrong to your older sister, Jung-ah.

 Don't even think about doing that."

"It's not that.





 Don't worry."

"You're really not going to tell me?"






"I'll tell you after I try it."

 Would that really work...?'

I was half doubtful, half hopeful,





but decided to trust Sooyeon's idea.
