# Prologue
_
One day, the female protagonist, feeling bored with her repetitive daily life, turns on the TV after work as usual and sees an advertisement.
'A virtual world that feels real!'
It was an advertisement for a VR device, and normally, I would have just passed it over, but the female protagonist was so intrigued that she bought the VR device right away.
The next day, the VR device arrived, and Yeoju turned it on without hesitation.
When she opened her eyes, an old landscape unfolded before her. Snow blossoms had fallen on the trees, as if it were winter. With each step, the chill of the snow that enveloped her feet made her smile without realizing it.
The moment I closed my eyes and inhaled the scent of winter, I heard a murmur behind me, and the moment I turned around.
"I told you not to appear in front of me."
A young man who seemed to be of noble birth and had manners ingrained in him was walking towards him with long strides, glaring at him as if he was going to kill him.
The female protagonist froze in the sudden situation and could only stare at the young man. Before he knew it, the young man was standing tall in front of him. He frowned at the female protagonist staring at him, took out a longsword from his waistband, and held it to her neck.
"Why did you come?"
The female protagonist rolled her eyes in surprise, wondering what to do.
"He asked me to tell him why I came."

He continued to press against the heroine, as if trying to pierce her throat with a sword. Soon, something flowed from her neck. The pain felt so real that she opened her eyes, only to see the exit button behind her. She reached out and pressed it, almost as if the button was wearing out, and suddenly her vision went black.
Feeling nothing, I fumbled around, then quickly removed the VR headset when I felt it. Relieved by the familiar surroundings of the room, I felt a prickle on my neck. I felt it, and felt something. I ran to the mirror and checked, and there was a scar, as if I'd been cut by something.
"It's not a game...?"
The place the heroine went to was not a virtual world, but reality.
