That's what we thought.

And that's how Tae-Tae met, as coincidentally as a summer rain shower, as gentle as the scent of cherry blossoms in the breeze, yet as subtle as poetry.
And so, instead of reluctantly attending classes as requested by Kim's parents, the regular English lessons on Tuesdays and Thursdays became a small, cherished longing for Taehyung. What was Taehyung longing for? He longed to engage in poetic debates with his neighbors, to read aloud English conversations together, and then his deep, warm voice would blend with Kyung's clear, melodious tone, creating the most pleasant harmony.
During the three months they spent sitting next to each other, Taekyung discovered that Hyungie would often wait until she fell asleep, then secretly take out his notebook and diligently write, like writing song lyrics, before using his phone to open the Naver Dict app to translate. Those hurried, insufficient naps allowed him to notice these "coincidences." His grandfather often said, "Boys with such beautiful hands are often prone to falling in love." Thinking this, he just smiled absentmindedly.
For three months straight, Taehyung noticed Kyung often resting her chin on her hand, her round, dark eyes gazing out at the cherry blossoms and smiling absentmindedly. When he was little, his grandmother used to tell him, "A girl like that will bring suffering to any man who falls in love with her."
Taehyung was very obedient to his grandmother because his parents were busy with work and left him with her since childhood. Kyung was also close to her grandfather because she grew up under his loving care after her parents divorced early. Therefore, the advice her grandfather gave to Taekyung, and the words her grandmother spoke to Taehyung, were considered absolute truths to both of them.
But in this case, the two children chose to ignore it.
Taehyung will soon confess his feelings to the neighbor and will be happy with Taekyung; there will be no more heartbreak because of Taekyung.
Just as Taekyung would nod in agreement if Taehyung confessed his feelings, there's no way she could make Taehyung fall hopelessly in love with her!
