I gratefully accepted the water Rabbit had offered me and downed it in one gulp. After a moment, the hiccups stopped, and Jeongguk, sitting directly across from me, rested his chin on the table and looked at me with a look of wonder.

At first, I nodded, thinking it was a good idea, and munched on the omelet rice filling my mouth. Then, staring intently at the rabbit, Jeongguk's eyes, as he spoke, seemed to sparkle like stars, their dark brown hues etched into them. Perhaps that was why, without realizing it, the words rolled out of my mouth like an exclamation.
“The rabbit’s eyes are so pretty… They look like they’ve been taken from the night sky…”
“Your eyes are pretty too, what is it?”
It felt like Jungkook had finally shed all the doubts and walls around me. If before, it felt like we were just a close fan and a singer, now it felt like we could be real friends. My heart raced. Bunny met my eyes and smiled prettily, without any hesitation. As a six-year Bunny fan, I knew it without anyone having to say anything. This excitement was clearly different from my feelings as a fan. This was… solid proof that I saw Bunny as a man, not as my singer.
