Lesson 2: Background Description

1. Explain the background/ground

If the female and male leads are just talking without any explanation, it cannot be considered a desirable novel.

Moreover, even the most genius would not be able to understand it.

That's why we need to include even a simple explanation in our writing so that readers can understand it better.

In Fanplus' visual fanfic, a background photo replaces this.

However, when writing a blog post, a general fanfic, or other novels, you will need this kind of background explanation.

Well... I'll write a short article to help you understand.

A place where the air smells of blood, crimson blood pools on the floor, and all kinds of screams are heard.
This damp basement is my home.
If you stay in a place like this, you will naturally become depressed.
I escape from here today.
Become a star in the sky.

The place I highlighted in bold is the background description.

Do you understand?
By providing a little background information like this, you make it easier for readers to understand the text and become more immersed in it.
