[Contest 3] Are you my secretary?

"..Are you going to go to work tomorrow?"

"If you go there, you'll only hear strange things."

A month had passed since Yeo-ju had stopped going to work and been hiding out at Ha-young's house. She was quite happy, and they'd long since forgotten each other.

Time proved to be the best medicine for Yeoju. Hayoung resigned and left the company because Yeoju wasn't showing up. Thanks to that, Yeoju and Hayoung became incredibly close.

"Is that all you're saying after waking me up?"

As Yeo-ju walked along the street, muttering, she looked up from her downturned head and saw them in front of her. Na-yeon was walking arm in arm with Yoon-gi, and Ui-geon was smiling.

Seeing them laughing so brightly even without the female protagonist, the heroine felt a pang of emotion welling up in her. Feeling like tears were about to fall, she put on her hooded cap and passed them by.

••• The female protagonist, who was walking quickly to pass them, felt someone's gaze and turned around slightly to see Seokjin looking at her. The female protagonist met Seokjin's eyes and quickly looked away, then continued walking.

Seokjin was looking at Yeoju while holding her wrist. Yeoju averted her eyes, but Seokjin grabbed her shoulder, turned her around, and spoke.

Seokjin, who asked questions in a stiff tone, unlike his usual speech, and Seokjin, who used to smile at the female lead, were gone, and only Seokjin was there, speaking with a blank expression.

"..How is the boss who didn't believe me?"

"...Well, I hope you're doing well. You were linking arms with Im Na-yeon and smiling-"

"I didn't listen to you from the beginning, sir. No, I didn't trust you."

"I wanted to find you, but you weren't there, and I lived like that for a month."

"I still remember you sitting in the secretary's chair and smiling when I came in."

"I barely managed to stop the president from putting Im Na-yeon in the secretary position."

"...I'm sorry, I never want to go back to a company where that kid is still the CEO."

“You didn’t believe me last time, and you’re still doing this now… How can I go in there with that kind of faith?”

"...I'm sorry, Seokjin, I'll forgive you- heh"
