I woke up and tossed and turned as usual, but I sensed something different.

"No matter how tired I was, how could I sleep here when my life was at stake..!"

As I was blaming myself like that, I heard a voice from outside the door.

The fearful voice from yesterday disappeared and a sweet voice called me.

He smiled brightly, showing the tray he was holding.

So, I was led by the man's hand to the kitchen and looked at him.

The man sat down on the dining chair and went to the sink, staring intently at something as he cooked.

After a while, the man who brought me some fried rice that looked good sat down next to me and stared at me as if he wanted to be judged.

I was debating whether I should eat this or not, but I ended up picking up a spoon and putting the fried rice in my mouth.

He asked me what it was like as soon as he put it in his mouth, wondering if I really wanted to be judged.

After eating a few more spoonfuls, I cautiously spoke to him.
