Love Maze 00-3

Perhaps not surprisingly, these three were well-known figures in the neighborhood. Kim Seok-jin, the student body president of Hwayeon Middle School, kind to everyone and friendly to the teachers; Kim Nam-joon, who consistently ranked first in the entire school since entering; and...

김태형
“Fuck… You’re making a fuss over nothing.”

Kim Tae-hyung, the representative bully of Yeonhwa Middle School.

“Did I, did I say something I shouldn’t have said? I told you that I saw your mom kissing some old men at a karaoke bar⋯!!!”

김태형
"who."

“⋯Huh, huh?”

김태형
“So, who said they saw it?”

Well, if you really think about it, Taehyung was only acting in self-defense. Even though they went to different middle schools, everyone in the neighborhood knew they were brothers, and everyone knew they were the sons of the president of Hansung Group.

Just as bees are always around fragrant flowers, there's always gossip surrounding famous people. I glanced back and forth between Taehyung and the boys fighting in the back of the classroom, but I quickly lost interest and put my earphones in.

I knew the situation without even having to hear it explained. It was probably about Taehyung's mother, or rather, their mother, seeing men. Taehyung, who loved his own mother, would have been furious at that.

“Of course I don’t know that⋯.”

여주
“⋯.”

Through the earphones, I could hear Taehyung hitting a boy. Even though we'd been in the same class for months, I didn't feel sorry or sorry for the boy whose name I didn't even know.

‘It’s noisy.’

It just got in the way of my studying. I frowned and turned to the source of the noise.

김태형
“⋯.”

여주
“⋯.”

Ah. Our eyes met.

김태형
“What are you looking at?”

여주
“⋯No.”

Taehyung spoke coldly, his back bent over from hitting the boy, and I turned my head forward again to respond. It was a completely different atmosphere from what I'd seen at home.

That was my first meeting with Kim Taehyung.

I declined my friend's offer to go home with me and left the house alone as usual. It wouldn't do any good to have Kim Taehyung and I discovered we lived in the same house.

Perhaps a celebrity had arrived? The area around the main gate was unusually noisy today. I nervously put my earphones in and tried to pass through the gate, but someone stood in front of me, seemingly blocking my path.

여주
“⋯?”

김석진
"It's Dad's birthday today. Let's get dressed up and go to the penthouse."

‘⋯There was no such thing this morning.’

A celebrity, or rather, a man more famous than a celebrity in this neighborhood, Kim Seok-jin, came to visit. He didn't offer much of a greeting, just a brief explanation of his business and got into the car first, so it seemed he was quite uncomfortable with the attention directed at him.

I felt the gaze that had been directed at Kim Seokjin turn back to me, and I sighed deeply. All the efforts I had made to avoid Kim Taehyung crumbled because of Kim Seokjin.

I opened the door that Seokjin had left open and climbed into the seat next to him. I could feel the sharp gaze from behind me, and I could see Seokjin's face, his expression crumpled, but I tried to ignore it and fastened my seatbelt.

여주
“Thank you for giving me a ride.”

After I finished speaking, Kim Seok-jin and I didn't exchange any words on the way to the department store.

This is my first time experiencing such a rapid development. You might have forgotten, but this is still the prologue. The real story begins when the female protagonist becomes a high school student.
