Chapter 3. The Vanished Man (1)
Mr. Jisoo's house was close to the station and the building was almost new.
His house was on the 5th floor of that apartment.
As I got off the elevator, there were several doors lined up in the hallway, and I could quickly tell which one was his.
Because men who looked like police officers were coming and going with a murderous look on their faces.
As I approached, a police officer who looked younger than me quickly approached me and asked in a stern tone what I was doing there.
The person who called me a little while ago asked me to come here if possible, so I came.
As I spoke to him in a way that was so clear that he wouldn't back down from the police, he entered the room with a puzzled expression on his face.
Instead of the arrogant policeman, a handsome man with sharp features who seemed to be around my age appeared.
He revealed his identity as Deputy Chief Inspector of the First Investigation Division.
When I heard the voice, it sounded like the person who had called me earlier.
Detective Boo Seung-kwan took me towards the stairs.

"My name is Kang Seul-gi. I'm a freelance writer."

I gave the detective Jun-hwi's name and phone number.

"Excuse me, when was Jisoo murdered?"
He tilted his head slightly and answered.

"The forensic team said that not much time had passed."

"How was he killed?"

"It's the head."
지훈
"head?"

Inside, the detectives from the forensic team were still busy moving around.
I followed Detective Boo Seung-kwan as he made his way through the gap.
As I entered the front door, there was a spacious living room and one room.
There was a glass table in the living room, and on it was a scarecrow.
There was a kitchen on one side of the room, and the sink was still filled with unwashed dishes.
Traces of life remained, making it seem as if time had stopped.
