Heaven's Cloud
The place where only one person waited

On set.

Under the busy lights, Seungkwan was in perfect makeup and attire.

I was getting ready to film. But my mind was spinning the whole time.

Delay left in place.

Seung-kwan felt a heavy weight on his chest and his head started to spin.

Currently, Dokyeom, who is busy with his afternoon schedule, is doing his own personal photoshoot first.

The filming went smoothly,

????
"I'll include Seungkwan and Dokyeom's cuts too!!!"

The staff spoke to Seung-kwan, who had finished preparing, and everyone busily started filming.

So it's 7pm in the evening.

도겸(석민)
"I'll go first!!!"

매니저
"Dokyeom, come quickly!"

Dokyeom, who finished filming first, greeted them, and the manager stepped forward to bring Dokyeom home.

There were still a few of Seungkwan's shots and a few of the vocal team's shots left, and during the break, Seungkwan sat down to take a breather.

Seung-kwan sipped his drink while looking at his phone. Even so, he kept worrying about Ji-yeon.

승관
"...He must have gone home. Of course he did. Should I apologize when I get home and suggest we have a meal together?"

Seungkwan then drank his beverage and started filming for the last time, and the trailer filming ended around 9 PM.

조슈아(지수)
“Thank you for your hard work~!”

While organizing the filming equipment, Joshua said with a smile.

조슈아(지수)
“Oh, it’s been raining so hard since this afternoon. Let’s all eat before we go~ It’s cold outside!”

The sky was already completely wet. The raindrops grew heavier, and the air grew colder. Seung-kwan flinched for a moment.

승관
"Ah...! I have some leftover food at home! Let's eat together next time!!"

He quickly packed his bag, opened his umbrella, and dashed outside.

On the way back in the taxi, anxiety began to creep into Seung-kwan's eyes.

승관
‘Surely… it’s not still there…?’

Seung-kwan arrived home and quickly opened the door.

승관
“...Jiyeon?”

As he opened the door, an empty house quietly greeted Seung-gwan. The sound of rain drifted through the empty space.

I thought Jiyeon would be mad at me or say something, but no one was there.

Just in case, I knocked on the room where Jiyeon was staying and opened it, but there was no one inside either.

The TV was off, and there was no sign of delay anywhere—not on the counter, not in the living room, not in the guest room.

승관
"...no way…"

Seung-kwan's heart sank.

I was momentarily dazed, as if something had been taken from me, and then ran outside without even being able to properly open my umbrella.

승관
"...No way. No way. It's raining like this right now..."

Seung-gwan runs at full speed through the rain towards the mountain path.

My wet sneakers clung to the water, and cold rain trickled down my neck.

But I couldn't stop.

11 p.m. The reality of leaving her there for nearly 17 hours hit me belatedly, and with a heavy weight.

승관
"Jiyeon…! Aren't you over there…? Please…"

Seung-kwan thought like that and headed towards the mountain they had climbed together.

It was night so I couldn't see very well, but since it was a hiking trail, I started running relying on the streetlights.

Seung-kwan continued to run to the spot where he had been with Ji-yeon earlier,

I didn't get lost because it was a road I took often, but I had never been up there at night before, and it was raining, so I was quite embarrassed.

How far did I run? Halfway up the trail. In the rain, dimly lit by streetlights.

Seung-kwan staggered to the spot where he arrived, catching his breath in a daze before spotting someone's figure.

승관
"...under.."

Jiyeon was there.

She was sitting on a large rock with her head slightly bowed.

Her wet hair stuck to her cheeks, and her entire body was drenched in rain.

승관
“...Ms. Jiyeon.”

At Seung-kwan's voice, Ji-yeon slowly raised her head.

김지연
“Oh… you’re here?”

승관
“…Are you really… an idiot?! Have you been here all this time?!”

At those words, Jiyeon looked at Seungkwan in surprise and muttered quietly.

김지연
"That's... You told me to wait... I was just wondering... I don't know what to do..."

Her fidgeting appearance. Seungkwan turned his head and brushed his rain-soaked hair back.

승관
“…Ha, I’m sorry. I’m really sorry.”

At his apology, Jiyeon shook her head and spoke softly.

김지연
"…I'm fine."

승관
“What’s wrong with that… My body right now…”

Seung-kwan carefully took Ji-yeon's hand.

승관
"Is this a human hand...? It's like an ice rink..."

He couldn't continue speaking at the cold fingertips. He stood there for a long moment. He held Jiyeon's hand tightly and quietly pulled her into his embrace.

In the pouring rain, under an umbrella.

The two stood so close that they could feel each other's breath.

김지연
“...Seungkwan-nim... your clothes... are wet…”

Jiyeon was flustered and tried to back away, but Seungkwan grabbed her shoulder and said.

승관
“It doesn’t matter. I’ll go back for now.”

On the way down, Seung-kwan still held Ji-yeon's hand tightly and tilted the umbrella closer to her.

승관
"I don't have a cell phone... I can't even contact you. Seriously... I'm going crazy..."

He muttered.

승관
“Tomorrow. I’ll buy you one.”

김지연
"Uh...what is it..? I'm fine...I'm sorry if it seems like you're having a hard time because of me..."

승관
"What are you sorry for? I'm the one who's sorry."

Jiyeon looked at Seung-gwan and quietly, sincerely, muttered to herself:

김지연
‘Thank you for coming.’
