02. At the convenience store (1)

전여주

"Hey, Jimin?"

박지민

"why?"

After shedding tears and snot in front of Jimin, I'm back to my convenience store part-time job. The problem is, the guy next to me, Park Jimin, shows no signs of leaving.

전여주

"Jimin, I know you're happy to see me, so can you please go now?"

박지민

"Why, I told you not to go. I told you not to leave crying."

전여주

"Oh, really? Why do you keep doing that?"

박지민

"Okay, I'll be going now. Take care, Jeon Yeo-ju. See you later!"

Jimin wrote his phone number on a notepad and left the convenience store with a cheerful jingle sound that he always hears.

전여주

"Uh, then shall we get down to business now?"

I made up my mind and focused on working part-time at the convenience store.

Ding-

전여주

"Welcome."

A fairly large adult man entered the convenience store. He picked up a few items and tossed them onto the counter.

전여주

"It's 3,000 won."

남자

"Hey, miss. You're pretty. Do you want to play with me?"

전여주

"...It's 3,000 won."

남자

"Huh? Are you ignoring what people say?"

The man was getting closer to me. I tried to take a step back, scared by his approach, but he didn't stop and kept pushing me against the wall.

전여주

"Ugh, why are you doing this to me?"

남자

"Why don't you play with me instead? I think you'll like it too."

전여주

"Oh, no. Don't come any closer, uh."

The man forced a kiss on me. I resisted in every way I could, but I waited for someone to come, wondering how I could possibly defeat a grown man.

But my hopes were shattered. Strangely, there were no customers at the convenience store tonight. I was left frustrated and in tears.

전여주

"Huh, huh, don't do that."

Then someone called my name.

???

"Jeon Yeo-ju!"

Is this a true story...? It's too short...

I've been enjoying writing again lately, so I'm trying to write two articles a day.

I think the past part will probably continue like this for 3 or 4 episodes.

I feel like if I don't write about the past, it'll feel like the story will turn out too quickly...
