I love you (short story)

I love you

She cried on the blanket in the quiet room. She shook her head as if she couldn't accept that he was no longer by her side, and she shed countless cold tears. No matter how much she was hurting, she was alone in her room tonight.

She shed even more tears than before, perhaps accustomed to the heartache. She probably didn't even hear the phone ringing. And so, she had kicked away the hope that had come to her.

She only just realized how much he was her happiness. The person who had called earlier, whom she hadn't heard, must have been very worried about her, so he knocked on the door and told her to open it. But she couldn't hear anything at this moment.

He finally entered the password and came in, but the friend couldn't help but be surprised. The girl who had been happy until yesterday, the girl who had smiled faintly, the girl who had dressed neatly, was sobbing.

She had never shown tears to her friends, so they were even more flustered. After putting down her luggage, her friend began to comfort her by patting her on the back. However, she only sobbed harder, and her cold tears did not stop flowing.

What if he were looking at her now? If he were to appear in front of her now, would she be able to stop crying?

She missed his warm embrace so much. She always thought of his embrace, and the more she thought of him, the more tears flowed.

How can she be happy?

Will she really smile brightly when he returns?

"I love you so much"

I now realize that I am in love with him.

"I love you"

"always"
