I think I'm in big trouble.

I received this notebook from Yerim this morning.

When I checked the post Yerin wrote yesterday

It was written that yesterday was Yerin's birthday.

I didn't know Yerin's birthday, so I couldn't even wish her a happy birthday.

Just because the birthday had passed, it was not something that could be glossed over.

Now that I know about it, I felt I should take care of it.

To have a belated birthday party for Yerin

We decided to recruit attendees for the birthday party.

First off, Eunbi, who travels with us and shares the same name, and

I could spot Sojeong sitting down after receiving her meal.

Sojeong also nodded, saying she understood.

And so, preparations for Yerin's surprise birthday party began.

The surprise birthday party was a huge success!

We sang the birthday song and apologized for congratulating her a day late, but

Yerin shed tears of joy while saying thank you.

It would have been really nice if we had had a birthday party yesterday.

I feel a bit guilty about wishing her a birthday a day late, but seeing Yerin happy made me so happy.

I hope that only good things will continue to fill our relationship in the future.

I always spent my birthdays alone.

At some point, my father stopped coming home, and

Mom was nowhere to be seen either; I don't know where she went.

Even while telling myself that it will come someday, it will come...

I had a strong feeling that they wouldn't come.

That thought was spot on.

Back then too, I thought I would spend my birthday alone.

That thought was also correct.

I always spent August 19th alone.

But the next day, my friends wished me a happy birthday.

It's a day late, but it's been so long since I've received birthday wishes.

I was so grateful.

I was so happy just knowing that there was someone who knew my birthday and celebrated it.

That day seems to have been the best birthday party of my life.
