Moon and stars
God's Monologue

권순영
"Let's go. To my world, to my moon."

ㅇㅇㅇ
"?...What kind of chuunibyou are talking about.."

"fizzle-"

Soonyoung covered ㅇㅇㅇ's mouth with her hand. Embarrassment, a vague fear of Soonyoung's actions, and a pounding heartbeat for an unknown future mixed together, she immersed herself in the moment.

Sunyoung grabbed OOOOO's wrist and looked up at the deep blue sky. More precisely, she looked at the silver moon against the sky. It was a full moon.

권순영
"From this moment on, the magic begins."

Sunyoung's dreamy and mysterious voice made me increasingly confused.

Ah... Mom will be waiting

As soon as ㅇㅇㅇ fell into Soonyoung's arms, a dazzling light spread out. Soonyoung squinted and muttered something. Then, the light dimmed, and all traces of Soonyoung and ㅇㅇㅇ vanished, as if they had never existed in the first place.

Ji-hoon looked up at the sky, or rather, the universe. What he saw here wasn't blue sky, but dark space. <Ji-hoon's Monologue>

Eight days had passed since Soonyoung left. It had only been eight days, but to Jihoon, those eight days felt like eight years. He hated this place without Soonyoung. He needed her. He didn't want to be alone.

이지훈
"Come quickly... please..."

Why does the universe, which has always been beautiful and mysterious, look scary today?

No one lives on the moon.

(Right now) no one lives on the moon (except Ji-hoon).

Jihoon was a creator. When Jihoon was born, there was nothing around him, just an empty space, and only Jihoon existed.

Then one day, Ji-hoon's magical power exploded. The black space grew larger and larger, and Ji-hoon was able to create worlds with his magical power.

Ji-Hoon created galaxies, created stars, and filled the universe with countless other things.

Then, suddenly, Ji-hoon felt lonely. Loneliness destroyed the always cheerful and resilient Ji-hoon, and it was the catalyst for his first attempt at creating life.

What was created through him was the Earth. People, plants, animals, and the sky. All of this was created by Ji-hoon solely for himself and humanity.

And Jihoon created Soonyoung. Soonyoung was just one of many people. To be honest, I didn't even know Soonyoung existed. Even Jihoon couldn't memorize everyone's face and name.

At that time, to relieve his loneliness and boredom, Ji-hoon traveled around the world, looking for people's funny and sad stories.

And in a country called South Korea, Ji-hoon met Soon-young for the first time.

There was only one reason why Soonyoung caught Jihoon's eye: she resembled him.

A cold gaze that overwhelmed her surroundings, the corners of her eyes turned up, and her face was quite pale. Above all, Sunyoung was alone.

Yeah. Rather than saying she was alone, it would be more accurate to say she was lonely. Soonyoung had quite a few friends and was relatively popular, but, well, how should I put it—she felt alienated from people? Even among people, perhaps because she was more mature than her peers, she began to be aware of what others thought.

Even the slightest frown from someone watching her made her tense up, and all her attention turned to that person. As a result, Soonyoung became increasingly sensitive, and her once smooth interpersonal relationships began to deteriorate.

It was Ji-hoon who discovered Sun-young, who was living in her own world and becoming lonely.

At first, I was drawn to her similar vibe and appearance, but as I got to know Sunyoung better, I began to project Sunyoung onto myself.

So Ji-hoon erased Soon-young's memories and invited her into his world, giving her new memories as a child who had a connection with him from the beginning. He felt sorry for Soon-young's family and friends, but he had no choice.

As expected, Soonyoung recognized Jihoon as her longtime friend and treated him with the greatest care. Thanks to this, the devastated and affection-starved Jihoon found happiness.

But what if my happiness, my friend, my precious person, and my astronaut Kwon Soon-young wants a different fate?

이지훈
"I should send it... because this much makes me happy."

It was a promise Ji-hoon made to himself. He would never change human destiny. He believed that destiny should be forged by oneself. Of course, bringing Soon-young with him was a violation of that promise.

But since he was happy because of Sunyoung, he wanted to see Sunyoung happy because of him.

이지훈
"Soonyoung will definitely bring 'Byeol' and introduce her to this place. And she'll want to leave with 'Byeol'. In that case... I have to tell her the truth."

I spoke calmly, but honestly, I felt incredibly nauseous. No, not just nauseous, but a twisted feeling in my gut. To be alone again?...I was finally happy...?

But Ji-hoon's happiness was Sun-young's. If my happiness was to be happy, there was no reason to stop him in the first place.

권순영
"Lee Ji-hoon, I'm here. No, we're here!"

Ah, here it comes, finally.

A sad smile gently appears on Ji-hoon's lips.
