The thick scent of flowers cuts out my heart.

The thick scent of flowers cuts out my heart.

I hated the emptiness I felt when I opened my eyes. I loathed the impenetrable darkness that would come when I woke up, groaning in pain from the aching pain in my body. To be precise, I hated the fragrant scent of flowers wafting from the half-open window.

The thick floral scent numbed my sense of smell and tore at my heart. "Keep..." Keek. The suffocating scent made me shamefully expose the whites of my eyes. I would foam at the mouth and occasionally have fits.

At those times, I barely managed to lift my heavy eyelids and let out a gasp. As I looked out the window, a flashing neon sign came into view.

It was time to start settling down. Around this time, my breathing, which should have been returning, began to feel unstable.

Gulp, gulp, gulp. He was panting so hard that he felt like he was going to suffocate at any moment. Ah. I can't sleep tonight, for some reason.

The thick scent of flowers numbed my sense of smell and tore at my heart. The neon signs that had been shining brightly that day suffocated me.
