"Even if technology is highly advanced, can you guarantee that it can save humanity?!" People in the science museum were debating, and the one raising the question was Kim Jun-myeon.

“I can’t guarantee that technology can save humanity, but it’s the only solution I can think of right now,” one of the subordinates said.

Kim Junmyeon frowned. He didn't believe this was the only way. Humanity was in imminent danger, and people were in a state of panic, not in the mood to think. But Kim Junmyeon had to calm down. He had to find a way to save humanity.

"Captain!" A very tall boy ran over.

Kim Junmyeon: "Chanyeol, what happened?"

Park Chanyeol took a breath. "We received news that a meteorite fell in Seoul, and we don't know how many people died."

Meteorites have almost always fallen from the sky, as if the universe or simply meteorites are declaring war on humanity.

"Let's gather everyone together and then discuss it further," Kim Junmyeon said.

Zhang Yixing got off the plane at the airport and quickly hailed a taxi to his destination. The world was in chaos, with corpses scattered everywhere. No one was burying them because everyone was hiding at home. But home wasn't a safe place either; who knew if a meteorite would hit those tall buildings?

Do Kyungsoo sat on the sofa, watching the television reporters still reporting on the sudden meteorite event. He impatiently turned off the television.

"The captain told us to go to the science museum for a meeting, why are you still sitting here?" Byun Baekhyun glanced at Do Kyungsoo sitting on the sofa.

“You haven’t left either, what’s the rush?” Do Kyungsoo retorted.

Byun Baekhyun didn't say anything, but gave a cold laugh and walked up to Do Kyungsoo.

"Don't tell me you're really going to tell them you have superpowers." Byun Baekhyun stared intently at Do Kyungsoo. Just a few days ago, Do Kyungsoo had felt unwell and in pain all over his body, but a hospital checkup showed he was perfectly healthy and had no symptoms.

But at that time, more and more people died, houses collapsed, meteorites fell, and the surrounding area was filled with corpses and cries. During the time everyone was fleeing, Do Kyung-soo learned that he had gained a superpower.

It's not just Do Kyungsoo; Byun Baekhyun and Oh Sehun also have it, and Byun Baekhyun's superpower appeared even earlier than Do Kyungsoo's and Oh Sehun's.

Do Kyungsoo stood up, walked past Byun Baekhyun to put on his coat, and glanced back at Byun Baekhyun as he reached the door.

"If we don't leave now, it'll be too late," Do Kyungsoo said before heading downstairs, with Byun Baekhyun following closely behind.

Kim Junmyeon isn't stupid. He and Kim Minseok have conducted numerous experiments, even exploring the possibility of transferring technological power/abilities to humans, which could grant them energy.

When nine people sit facing each other, everyone remains silent; not speaking at this moment only makes the atmosphere more tense.

Kim Junmyeon was the first to speak: "These past few days, Minseok and I have been working on an experiment. Although the chances are slim, I think we still need to give it a try."

Kim Jong-in: "What experiment?"

Kim Minseok: "Transfer the power of technology to humanity, so that humanity can use its own strength to resist..."

Zhang Yixing coughed, trying to break the atmosphere.

Kim Junmyeon: "We're on the same team. If anyone in the group has any so-called superpowers, they should step forward."

No one answered.

The meeting didn't go very far; everyone seemed to have lost all concern for each other in this situation where death could come at any moment.

On the rooftop of a very tall building, three people were seen.

"Don't you think Chanyeol is acting strange today?" Byun Baekhyun voiced his question.

Do Kyungsoo gazed at the distant skyscrapers, lost in thought, and muttered, "Maybe he has superpowers too."

Wu Shixun clicked his tongue: "Isn't it said that superpowered people can sense each other? Did you sense him?"

Do Kyungsoo: "That's not surprising. Maybe Chanyeol and we're not on the same wavelength."

Byun Baekhyun fiddled with his watch and said, "Could it be that ability users are also assigned to teams? Does this mean one side is going to save the world, and the other side is stopping them?"

Sehun shrugged. "Judging from Chanyeol's expression, you might not be mistaken."
