Sweet Smell [Omegaverse/2-part series]

Episode 1

As a child, I was bullied and ignored by other kids simply because I was an omega.

'You vixen.' / 'Stop giving off a dirty smell.'

These were the curses I grew up hearing so much from them. Looking back now, they were childish words from my youth, but they left a deep scar on me as a child.

That's why I always had antidepressants and perfume in my bag. Back when I was desperately in need of affection and companionship, I desperately needed someone to embrace me and understand me.

I tried everything I could to make friends, but no one came near me.

I was always a loner left alone.

As I cowered in fear amidst the increasingly severe bullying and verbal abuse from the children, three children approached me. One of them, a boy, smiled brightly and extended his hand toward me.

I stared at the hand extended before me, then raised my head to look at them. They were children with power that even the teachers at school couldn't easily ignore.

The so-called bullies, kids I could never get along with.

A child, smiling beautifully, waited for an answer. As the boy approached, the cool scent of peppermint wafted past my nose.

Without realizing it, I was drawn to something and grabbed the child's hand.

Good job.

For some reason, the boy stroked my head. I blankly accepted the gentle touch, then looked at the other two standing behind me.

A child with a cute face and sharp eyes, a child smiling with pretty dimples, and finally, this child stroking my head.

...how?

김태형

Because that's how we'll make it happen.

At the time, I didn't know anything. I just thought her innocent smile was pretty.

Why didn't I realize back then the purpose behind their innocent smiles? If I had, I wouldn't have been trapped in their clutches.
