"The main character is me."
Farewell

I would like to express my gratitude to the very few people who have supported me so far.

I would like to express my gratitude to everyone who has viewed my work, in addition to those who have commented and rated it.

As of now, I can't write in a way that makes me stand out from other writers, and I think my writing skills are lacking.

As I graduate this year, I plan to study writing on my own.

Actually, lack of writing skills isn't the only problem.

As I approach my graduation this year, I have a reason to focus more on my studies.

Well... I'll leave these petty excuses aside and say goodbye.

This playground is covered with fluttering cherry blossom petals with a faint pink tint.

All of us gathered here are freshmen who will be attending this school.

A few months ago, on a day when snow was falling bit by bit despite the weather not being particularly cold, I said goodbye to friends I had been with for almost six years and went out to the front of the school for the first time.

I could see familiar faces among the people.

Just a few months ago, children would make eye contact with each other, each holding a bouquet of flowers in their hands, amidst this swarm of people.

Everyone was wearing school uniforms.

It's really amazing.

The day I held a bouquet of flowers and the day the snow fell and I wore a school uniform and the cherry blossoms fell

If snow symbolizes farewell, do cherry blossoms symbolize reunion?

When we meet again, cherry blossoms in pink will still be fluttering between us.

If a cherry blossom petal flies and lands on my hand while I'm walking down the street, I'll think of it as your warmth.

I think of the cherry blossoms as your figure visible through the cracks in my hand, and even if I don't recognize you, I'll wave and whisper "hello."

And when the snow falls, I take you out of my memories once more

I will greet you with my eyes, waiting for the spring when we will meet again.

Hello, kids

I will remember you with my eyes as cherry blossoms that we will meet again someday.

See you later.
