But my wish didn't come true. The day after I was discharged, when I went to school, everyone avoided me. They were so blatant, like they were tainted by something. Feeling something strange, I opened the classroom door and went to my seat.

The desk was covered in all sorts of graffiti. Even the doll in my likeness had its neck ripped open. I pulled out a chair. Between the glue and the glue, there were bugs. I covered my mouth as I saw the cockroach's legs move.

I heard the kids talking, but I ignored them and went to my seat. I grabbed a wet tissue and wiped the glue on the chair. I could feel the bugs on my hands, but I held it together.
After wiping off all the glue, I wiped the chair once more. Then I threw away the wet wipes. The desk wouldn't be wiped clean anyway. I sat down cautiously in the chair.
Then, someone kicked my chair from behind, and my stomach hit the edge of the desk. I had trouble breathing and tears welled up. As I struggled to breathe, I heard laughter behind me. I squeezed my eyes shut. Just then, Jooyeon Ha approached me.

“Hey, Yeon-ha, are you crazy? Why are you protecting that other girl?? Seriously, being too nice is a problem. That girl stole your boyfriend. She’s a total vixen!!”

Jooyeon looked at me with worried eyes. Then Jooyeon's friend, looking disgusted, took Jooyeon away. On the way, Jooyeon turned slightly, saw me, and smiled.
I averted my eyes from the laughter of the lead actor. I sat quietly, trying my best to remain discreet. This seemed to be the best approach.

At that moment, a popular girl in our class spoke. Then, the kids around her spoke with a mocking tone.

“Yubin, there’s a stand over there. Use it.”
The dogs looked at me and spoke. Kim Yu-bin, the popular girl, looked at me at their words and smiled. I met Kim Yu-bin's eyes, and she snapped her fingers.
As if he was telling me to come to him. And he was right. As I stood there blankly, the kids around Kim Yu-bin shouted for me to come. I went to him, and he just stared at his nails, pretending he wasn't interested in me.

I asked back. But Kim Yu-bin said nothing more. Instead, the children around him told me to kneel. More precisely, to be his footstool.
I wanted to say no, but the attention of the kids on me made me kneel. Then, Kim Yu-bin, still wearing her high heels, placed her leg on my back.
The heels of my high heels thumped against my sides with each step. But I couldn't say anything. Here, I was nothing more than an object, not a human being.
