"What a boring guy. Is this what you've been doing while I was away, Paulo? Ugh. You're tainting my reputation!"
Inside the car, Sejun was busy browsing the phone for almost 10 minutes already. But it annoys him how plain and dull Paulo's life is.
"I won't waste time catching up on your boring life, Paulo. Let me make some changes as a start." Sejun thought and flashed a wide grin.
"And save! There you go! Sexyjun Nase is coming, hotties!"
Sejun started the engine and drove straight to Paulo's home. He unbuckled his seatbelt and was about to get out of the car when he remembered something.
"Right, Dante must not know that I'm Sejun. Hindi ko hahayaang ikulong nila ako ulit!"
Sejun took a glance at the rearview mirror and fixed himself back into Paulo's style again.
He took a deep breath before pulling the interior car door handle. As he pushed the car door open, it hit a person who was passing by.
Sejun immediately went out of the car with twitching eyebrows.
"Who in the hell are you---"
Sejun couldn't finish his words as the person shot a glare at him. However, seeing a clearer version of that person's face made Sejun speechless.
"Paulo?!"
The lady's question snapped Sejun back in reality. It was then followed by the lady's groan.
"Ugh...ang sakit. Hindi mo ba 'ko tutulungang tumayo?"
Out of impulse, Sejun bent down to help the lady stand up. Her scent is intoxicating the young man as it is neither too strong nor too plain. It's a refreshing, natural body scent.
"Alam ko namang mayaman ka, pero matuto ka namang tumingin sa side mirror ng kotse mo bago ka magbukas ng pinto."
Sejun couldn't respond a word. This is the first time he became speechless while talking to a woman.
"Tsk, nagsasalita lang ako sa hangin. Kung sabagay, ano bang mapapala mo sa ex-boyfriend mo, A'tin?" the lady said, talking to herself as she didn't get any reply from the guy. She chose to ignore him and walk away.
Sejun unconsciously smiled while watching her walk away from him. He was mesmerized by the lady's indifference towards him. After all, no woman has ever snob his charm.
"So A'tin is your name..." Sejun thought in dreamy. But it didn't last long as he recalled what A'tin just said.
"Tsk, nagsasalita lang ako sa hangin. Kung sabagay, ano bang mapapala mo sa ex-boyfriend mo, A'tin?"
"She is Paulo's ex-girlfriend?!" Sejun shouted in disbelief.
"She was the nerdy girl that I dumped two years ago?! I didn't recognize her at all!" Sejun thought in confusion.
It was two years ago when Sejun dumped a girl who turned out to be Paulo's first love. Sejun was disgusted by the idea that his body is dating an old-fashioned woman. She was way out of Sejun's league.
However, it was not in Paulo's case. A'tin was the only girl who has been patient with him for almost 5 years. They were so happy before, not until A'tin saw his boyfriend flirting with other girls without knowing that it was Sejun, not Paulo.
"Who the hell are you? I don't date nerdy girls. Get lost." Sejun said to A'tin who was claiming to be his girlfriend.
This was the worst scenario that has ever happened to their relationship. The guy that she loves didn't recognize her. He even insulted her and told her to get lost.
Upon knowing this incident, Paulo was in too much guilt for hurting the woman who has done nothing but loves him dearly. To avoid more predicament, Paulo decided to break up with her.
"I'm sorry A'tin. It's not because of you. It's because of me. I am the problem."
Their fifth anniversary also became the day where their hearts were shattered into pieces.
