-after some research on how to take care of them, you end up buying the easiest one: aware of your busy lifestyle, you don't want to take a responsability too big for you

-using dried out herbs when cookinh was cool, but both of you wanted to try using fresh ingredients to see the difference
-for this reason, you bought one pot of basil, one of rosemary and one of chives, fated to die or... Die, but eaten
-you give yourselves a week of time: if no plant dies in that time, it's a success (and you do succed :D)
-btw, despite your worries, the cats don't cause any harm to the plants
-caught in his green-fever, Minho also buys some well-deserved catnip for his babies

-he knows you love receiving flowers, but also feel bad and guilty when they die, so he comes up with a solution
-instead of a bouquet, he gives you a potted plant (your fav flower, actually), together with a detailed explanation on how to take care of it (thank you, florist)
-you're not very sure about it at first, afraid of killing it, but he helps you taking care of it
-slowly, as you two exchange more and more plants as gifts, you also gained more experience and confidence
-there are plants everywhere in your house, reminding how much you love each other (too cheesy?)

-neither of you really know how or why random things happen to you, but one evening Hyunjin comes home with a lemon tree with him
-which is a problem since you're not prepared for a fucking lemon tree, but okay
-a bunch of stuff thrown away to make space for it, a rushed research on how to take care of a lemon tree and some ignored questions about how a tree ended up with him, you're ready for the new family member
-it's a bit hard at first, adjusting your routines to have enough time to take care of a tree, but it slowly becomes a habit
-and the hard work pays off! You end up harvesting a nice amount of lemons :)
