After practice, the atmosphere in the gym was no longer tense, but rather filled with commotion.

The festival practice was in full swing, and people were moving quickly and concentrating on their own tasks.

Some time had passed... I looked at the clock and it was already dinnertime. I was so hungry...

"Jaehyun, Taesan. Do you want to go eat dinner?"

I thought about having a meal together, but it would be too rude to ask just one person to go eat.

In the end, I decided to take care of both.

Actually, it's also because I don't want to eat alone... (embarrassed)

"Oh, heroine. I'd like to go too, but..."

Jaehyun looked slightly embarrassed. Taesan quietly observed his expression.

"Okay, let's go. Lady, if there's anything you want to eat, just tell me."

Taesan added with a smile.

I guess he was a little competitive, because Jaehyun said he would go right away lol

"N..Me too!! I'm hungry ^^ Let's go, let's go~"

We headed to a nearby snack bar. Even as we walked down the small alley, I felt a sense of smallness and peace.

I thought that this was the moment when we could stop for a moment in our busy and intense daily lives.

I used to think I was very shy and quiet, but thanks to my friends, I think I've become more outgoing.

As soon as we arrived at the snack bar, Jaehyun and Taesan sat down and waited for me.

I looked at the menu and thought about it, but rather than just choosing anything, I asked them what they wanted to eat.

"What do you want to eat?"

"Hey lady, what are you going to eat?"

Jaehyun approached me and asked, "Even though he's a rascal, he's the best at taking care of me... You really need to know."

But Taesan also looked at the menu and said at the same time.

"Hey, the tteokbokki here is really delicious. Let's try it."

At those words, Jaehyun frowned for a moment and continued speaking.

"What's tteokbokki;; Yeoju doesn't like that? Eat that, that. I told you kimbap is really delicious."

Jaehyun pointed to the kimbap and said that. From then on, the two of them began to compete with each other, recommending dishes without thinking.

"Try the Janchi Guksu. It's really delicious. I guarantee it."

"No, lady. The cheese rice here is legendary. Eat this and I'll buy it for you."

Jaehyun refuted the claim and showed his passion for food.

As I held back my laughter and looked back and forth between the two of them, they both looked at me and spoke at the same time, as if competing with each other.

"Eat noodles for the feast"

"Eat cheese rice"

Yeoju found that scene amusing, but also thought their bickering wasn't a bad thing. The two of them, somewhat awkwardly, continued to compare the food I'd chosen, chattering noisily. But I found something warm about them. The way they cared for me in different ways, the moments when their feelings seemed to be conveyed, brought a faint smile to my face.

"You two... are so cute."

I said with an awkward smile. Jaehyun and Taesan both looked flustered at the same time. That made me laugh even harder.

"Oh, no. Just enjoy your meal, heroine."

Jaehyun put food in his mouth, his voice trailing off as if embarrassed.

"Yes, my lady. Enjoy your meal."

Taesan also gave me food with a leisurely smile.

That evening, the three of them enjoyed a meal and casual conversation. It was a little awkward, since I hadn't been close with Jaehyun for very long, but I thought this kind of ordinary time wasn't bad.

I just hope this moment... this happy moment lasts a long time.
