Although EXID created the new word 'reverse chart'
The algorithm(?) with the word 'reverse driving' seems to be no joke for Brave Girls either.
On SBS's ' Inkigayo ' that aired in March 2021, Brave Girls won first place with ' Rollin '' , beating out SHINee and ATEEZ!! It was their first first place in almost 5 years since their debut, 1853 days ago!!!
Brave Girls, who took first place on this day,
“ We were on the verge of disbandment . I thought I would never be able to stand on stage again, but thank you for giving us such a great award, ” he said with tears in his eyes.
He also expressed his feelings by saying, “ I would like to express my sincere gratitude to our Brave Brothers CEO who believed in us until the end when everyone else said it couldn’t be done . I would also like to thank the company, our fans , and our soldiers. ”
At that time, they were celebrating their 5th debut anniversary, but due to their long period of obscurity, the members were discussing disbanding the team.
At that time, there was a TV program called 'Comfort Train' on the Armed Forces Broadcasting System that went around military bases and gave comfort performances.
It is relatively easy to recruit compared to famous girl groups.
At the time, I went to a lot of concerts with girl groups that were still not well known.
Brave Girls was also included among the girl groups frequently invited to perform on comfort trains.
'Rolling' first became a huge hit among soldiers, and then those soldiers were discharged and went out into society.
Brave Girls' 'Rolling' gradually gained popularity on YouTube and was able to reach number one^^
' Rollin '' , released 4 years ago, swept the domestic music charts by making a comeback. So let's get back into action!
He said that he enjoyed his first heyday by reaching number one on a music show.
It's really ironic that songs like Brave Girls' "Rolling" were quietly buried because of popularity.
Still, I think that masterpieces will be re-evaluated no matter what.
It's like singer Yang Il-jun's song being re-evaluated through YouTube as 'Topgol GD' after several decades.
