Get to know Jo Yuri, who appeared as a pregnant woman in Ogame 2!

A member of the group IZ*ONE,

In Squid Game Season 2

There is a lot of interest in Jo Yu-ri, who played the role of a pregnant woman carrying Im Si-wan's child!

(- Excerpt from an interview with Jo Yuri -)

I have been for a long time

I met the director while auditioning,

The final casting was done through auditions.

I originally

I was a huge fan of Squid Game Season 1.

so

“I am so happy to have joined Squid Game Season 2.

“It was truly an honor”

It is true that there were huge expectations for the female protagonist in season 2. In season 1, the protagonist named 'Saebyeok' played that role...

This expectation is supposed to be filled by Jo Yuri from IZ*ONE, but in fact, she hasn't shown much activity in Season 2 yet.

(Because she is pregnant, young, and a child-like character, and because she has nothing more or less than hatred for Im Si-wan, who disappeared after being a con artist and ended up meeting her again here...)

Still...

When I saw Jo Yu-ri join the team with Lee Byung-hun and Lee Jung-jae at the end, I had a vague expectation that 'Ah... this person will also be a very important character in season 3.'

Since it's a pregnant woman setting, someone will probably sacrifice themselves to save the child, or Jo Yuri's maternal love will kick in for the child and she'll become a very strong character... (Oh, is this too obvious?? Haha)

Anyway, Jo Yuri-nim could be a completely new face to some people!

- Below is IZ*ONE Jo Yuri's profile

* Born in Busan in 2001.

Participated in Mnet's Idol School in 2017,

The following year, in 2018, she participated in Mnet's Produce 48 and placed 3rd. She debuted as the main vocalist of the girl group IZ ONE with their first mini-album.

He made his official solo debut in 2021 with the release of his first single album, glassy.

After that, he will begin his acting career starting with the web drama Mimicus in July 2022.

During the IZ*ONE days, with Jang Won-young, An Yu-jin, and Kim Min-joo...

In fact, I remember that even during the IZ*ONE days, Yuri had a lot of fans because she sang so well.

(Oh, well, the popularity of the group IZ*ONE itself was at an incredible level...)

I wonder what the atmosphere would be like now if IZ*ONE had continued to be active...ㅎㅎ

(But if you look at it, there are many members who are still active and doing well...^^)

There is a rumor that Jo Yuri won two big awards at the Asia Artist Awards held in Bangkok.

The white dress is so pretty @.@

Hemeko is perfect

You have a fairy-like visual that is truly lovely itself!

Airport fashion is also super cute ㅠ.ㅠ

Matching UGG shoes with the trendy long scarf these days.

He has a youthful face, so it wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that he's a student

(Especially foreigners who watch Squid Game might think that I'm a complete kid!!! Hahahahaha)

In the past, Jo Yuri appeared on the Kkondaehee channel and said that she auditioned for several auditions during her hiatus but failed all of them and the only one she got was the Squid Game! There was a scene where Kim Daehee jokingly said, "Isn't that a case of false talk?" Who would have thought that would be true... hahaha

(Mr. Kim Dae-hee's recruiting skills are the best...hahaha)

It was nice to see her face again after a long time since IZ*ONE, and she's still cute and seems to be establishing her position as an actress, so I think it was really nice to see her.

I look forward to your great activities in the future! ^^
