[Episode 5] That night, alone

It was late in the evening when I got home.

My brother went into the room without saying anything to me. I didn't say anything.

It was quiet as usual and acted like it was an uneventful day.

The moment I closed the door and placed my bag on the bed,

The look in his eyes from earlier came back to me.

“You have changed a lot.”

That tone of voice.

A low, muffled voice.

and,

The eyes that looked at me.

I sat up in bed and then got up again.

Strength entered my fingertips,

One side of my chest felt strangely tight.

I thought nothing happened

I tried to pass it off as just seeing an old friend again.

wonderfully,

My body didn't move like that.

I stood in front of the mirror.

With the eyes that looked at me today,

I looked at myself now.

What has changed since I was a child?

Maybe he just grew a little taller. Maybe he became less talkative.

or not,

Have I really become an adult?

Yeonjun oppa remembered me.

Bring out a very old scene

It made me laugh.

But it was strange.

I think that's…

It wasn't just welcome.

I lay down on the bed.

I closed my eyes and quickly opened them again.

My head was complicated,

That afternoon, conversations drifted quietly.

I couldn't even remember what face I made.

Was it too awkward? Was it too obvious?

What did that person feel?

The cell phone vibrated.

One message.

[Yeonjun Oppa]

[Did you get home safely? It was nice seeing you today.]

It was a short sentence.

I wrote my reply slowly.

[Yeah. It was nice to meet you too.]

After sending it, I laid my phone face down.

And then I closed my eyes again.

This time, sleep didn't come easily.
