[News En Reporter Ha Ji-won] Actor Yoo Seung-ho shared his latest news of preparing for his first play.
Yoo Seung-ho, who recently met with 'Arena Homme Plus', shared his various feelings while preparing for the play 'Angels in America', which begins on August 6th.
I told the story.
“To tell you what I really felt, I said I would do it as if I was possessed by something.” Yoo Seung-ho said about the reason he chose this play.
He answered that it was a momentary attraction rather than an intentional plan. He said, “I thought I would find it with practice or time.
“I still don’t know the exact reason, but I think it would be great if we could find out on stage,” he added.
The process of preparing for it may be the process of finding out the true nature of attraction.

Yoo Seung-ho also talked about the emotions he felt when he first encountered the play. “From the moment I first went to the practice room, I couldn’t even predict it.
There was nothing. What on earth should I do? I felt like I was left alone on a deserted island and didn’t know what to do.” This unfamiliar environment was a challenge for him.
Gen became the foundation for a new passion to arise. “When theater veterans gathered together to create a work, I listened to their words.
I decided to follow it unconditionally. I thought I would find my own way and take what I could.”
He also mentioned the process of learning the freedom to act in a new way while practicing the play. “I used my body and voice
I looked at it and thought, “It’s possible to write like that.” When I tried something I had never thought of, I also saw it and felt something new and different.
I tried it out thinking I would try it. Sometimes I tried it really stupidly, and sometimes I tried it seriously. I tried it in various ways.
I was confident that the running process would be a good experience for me.”
Also, Yoo Seung-ho said that since he gained new stimulation through the play, this play is exciting for him and he said, “It is something that has been solidified so far.
I have an expectation that things I don't know will be broken through this process. And I really hope the audience will react.
"I'm so, so curious," he said.
Meanwhile, 'Angels in America' will be performed at the LG Arts Center Seoul, LG SIGNATURE Hall from August 6 to September 28.
