Oh Sehun
After signing a few copies of our album at Incheon Airport, I stopped for bubble tea hoping it would cool me down. As I walked into the café, I noticed the girl we met at "Monster"—the sister of the super idol brothers—standing in front of me.
Chanyeol Hyung had told me to stay away from them; they were dangerous. She was talking animatedly to the cashier. Looking more closely, I saw it was the same guy from last time.
They were both chatting animatedly. The people in the back started complaining, and the girl went to sit down to wait for her order, while the boy, whose name I believe was Luhan, was surprised to see me.
After I placed my order, another guy came to replace Luhan. I slowly went to the counter, and while Luhan finished preparing my drink, I took out my notebook again and jotted down a few more lines to the song "We Young" that Chanyeol and I had started writing during one of our video calls. Apparently, he couldn't sleep, and since I was 14 hours away, it didn't bother me at all, until he stopped calling me and it became impossible to reach him. In fact, Jongin Hyung said that Chanyeol Hyung was already in Gyeonggi and was acting very strangely.
Reading the verse over and over, I felt like something was missing, so I tried to contact Chanyeol Hyung. Maybe with his experience he could tell me what it was...
"And what does it matter if it's not the right answer,
Who determines that it is wrong?
"Because it hurts" are not the comforting words we invented.
So don't take others as your guide.
Even if morning comes, let them leave us in peace, let them mind their own business."
Someone had touched my shoulder. When I turned around, I expected to find a fan who had recognized me, but instead, I met those Bambi-like eyes that belonged to LuHan. He reminded me that he had one of my t-shirts and that I hadn't told him I was coming back to Korea and that he had no way to contact me. I gave him a piece of my notebook with the address where I'd be next week so he could send it by express delivery whenever he wanted. After that, he took bubble tea to the girl from "Monster" and stayed chatting with her. I could hear some of the phrases they were saying to each other; it seemed like they hadn't seen each other in a long time, and they were both very loud, but from where I was, I couldn't make out what they were talking about. From their conversation, I was able to piece together what was missing from this part of the verse.
Don't worry,
no matter what it is,
Be yourself.
no matter where you are.
you are.
Writing was much easier in this café; I wondered if it was because of the excellent bubble tea they made, or if it was...
