Jay let out a ragged breath. He was exhausted. He didn't know how long this problem would continue.
"I've talked to him nicely but it seems to be useless. Does the other side really have to use violence to solve the problem?"
Heksa smiled tightly. "That's what I felt before."
"But I'm worse" Jay said
"Yes, indeed. In your opinion, you are the leader of the group. If I were the leader of the osis"
"You're only in the school, I'm creeping out," Jay added.
"Yes Jay, I know," said Heksa.
They were currently at a food stall, a popular hangout spot during school hours. The stall's proximity to the school made it a frequent destination for students like Jay. Besides the affordable and delicious food, the stall was also very comfortable, which is why Jay chose it as their small basecamp.
"So? Are you serious? I just found out that Jea and Beomgyu broke up?"
"It's been a long time, you idiot, where have you been? Jea even got approached by several of her classmates and seniors."
"Of course. Jea is beautiful."
"Pretty friend"
"You said that because you have a crush on her friend. Whoever I ask who's prettier, they'll always say Jea is prettier. There's no cure for beauty."
"Like it? It's a trap"
Shaking his head and smiling sadly. "I just saw who was fighting for him and I backed down."
Heksa and Jay heard the words of their members. All of them.
Of course Jay knows who Jea is. The girl who has always been different from other girls. While other girls are competing to get Jay, Jea is different. Even when they meet, they act like strangers, even though they are in fact strangers(?)
"Do you know Jea, Hes?" Jay asked.
"I know you. My ex-crush."
Jay stared at Heksa in shock. Heksa hadn't told him anything, but had said that the prima donna was his ex-crush. Shocked, shocked.
"You pig! Why didn't you tell me?"
"What are you doing? I want to say that it's official. It's not even official yet, I'm already pissed off," Heksa said.
"How come you're his ex-crush?" Jay asked curiously. This friend of his always kept quiet about anything, waiting for Heksa to ask for the story before he would tell her.
"We were friends in junior high school at first. Then I didn't know that we would be in high school again, and when I came home in the afternoon because of the osis meeting, it turned out that he was also late, so I invited him to come with me because no one picked him up. From there, I became close to him," Heksa explained while remembering the past, in the beginning he was close to Jea.
It felt wonderful. But Heksa was certain that Jea wasn't the one for him. There was someone else in store for him. Heksa was certain of that.
"How did it end?" Jay asked again, still curious about Heksa and Jea, really.
"It's okay. I let him go. He also feels uncomfortable with me, instead of torturing each other is better to stop in aja. Right?"
Jay nodded. "Love is complicated. That's why I've never even dated."
"Your life is too black and white. While you're still in high school, you might as well make your life colorful," Heksa said.
"How?"
"Being colorful doesn't mean you have to create this and that memory, be naughty, or anything like that. In a different sense, like your friendship or your relationship."
Jay nodded. "Yes, I understand. You asked me to date you, right?" Jay guessed, making Heksa chuckle.
Jay's guess was correct. It was exactly what Heksa had intended.
"Do you want me to introduce you? I have a lot of girlfriends?" Hexa Bargain
Jay shook his head. "I don't want to and I never will."
"You're the single one, I'm the one who's worried. I feel like I just want to find a partner," Heksa said angrily.
Jay sighed. Then he got up from his seat, making Heksa ask, "Where are you going?"
"Back to school."
"Surprise(?)"
"Want to repent"
Heksa sneered sarcastically. "You'll sin again tomorrow."
Jay chuckled.
