C: I vaguely remember the previous
When I realized that the vague recollection of the past was similar to the present I was facing, it was not an illusion, but I was already mistaken in thinking that I did not love you.
The dark, soiled shirt and the blood pooling all over his wounds were nothing short of painful. His hands were handcuffed, and the gunshot wound near his shoulder, along with the blood gushing out as if from a deep cut, stung. His breath, breathed repeatedly and evenly, grew warmer. His hair, tied in a knot, poked through the gap, swaying in the slight breeze. He nervously lifted his hand, handcuffed, to rip the hair from his face, which refused to fall.
A yellowish, almost orange light shone down on the two or three remaining lights tucked between the alleyways. The feeling of my body gradually losing strength made me realize how easily a person could go mad. Watching you die with a clear mind, I realized I couldn't have been in the right position.
"If you've had your fill, why don't you just end it now? There's no need to step up and do something that's going to tire you out. If you want to see me die, all you have to do is shoot me in the head and it'll be over. And if that great detective wants to arrest me, I can easily take him away. As you can see, my condition is at rock bottom."
"Huh, I don't trust you. I don't trust you. No matter what your situation, if you just take off the handcuffs, you're the kind of person who'll do anything to escape. I want to arrest you and beat you to death right now, but I'm holding back. Are you being careful with your words?"
“Catch him and beat him up? Hahaha, he’s being ridiculous. How much can a mere detective take to arresting the vice-boss of an organized crime group and grilling him?”
The moment Taehyung raised his gun at Yu-eun, a van passed by, knocked out all the detectives, and quickly took Yu-eun away.
Long before the day when Eun-i tried to kill Tae-hyung, Eun-i, who Tae-hyung tried to kill, was not dead.

When I regained consciousness, I saw a medium-sized room with long iron bars running along one side. A IV was stuck in one hand, and my hands were handcuffed, something I'd never seen before. Unable to hide her bewildered laughter, I saw Taehyung, who had been watching, put a cigarette in his mouth and tilted his head. Frustrated, Yueun unsheathed the IV from her pale arm.
“Long time no see.”
"Well, it hasn't been that long, has it? More importantly, I told you to take him away because he's dying, and you're tying him up like this. What common sense is there? If you're not going to give it to me, put that cigarette away."
“Ah. I guess you’re craving this cigarette. I’m going to stop drinking, so if that’s okay, then what?”
As Eun-woo glared at him, who was acting like a sly rascal, he slowly approached her and lit a cigarette. He motioned for her to light the nearly nonexistent fire with his lighter, and Tae-hyung shrugged and obediently complied. After a few silly jokes, even that seemed to have worn off, and he finally released the handcuffs.
“Why?”
"It's not really fun. After all, this is my territory, and you're unfamiliar with it. Besides, what can you do in a confined space? Would you believe me if I said it was just my carelessness? Well, it doesn't matter if you don't believe me. It's just my feeling."
Eun-i glared at him with a bewildered look, but Tae-hyung didn't react. Tae-hyung's words seemed relaxed, but he was still staring at his bound hands, his hands clenched tightly in handcuffs. Eun-i couldn't help but laugh at the inconsistency between his words and actions.
"What, did those guys above you give you orders? Or is that your law? Those damn rules you always make and never break. It's that simple."
“Don’t talk like that.”
In an instant, Taehyung's gaze suddenly turned cold, and she slyly tapped his ear, telling him it didn't matter. When Taehyung caught his breath and opened his eyes again, Yueun was gone. When he turned around, Yueun was playing with the door key and had a playful smile on her face, and she suddenly stuck her tongue out at Taehyung. He hurriedly ran to Yueun, but she was already outside the door, locking the iron bars where he was.
You should have known to be careful when approaching criminals.
Still a dumb kid. Or did you throw the ball at him on purpose?
Whether you're a dog or not, you're locked up, the master is going to go.
