Goodbye Summer

Early

Hyesoo felt her heart skip a beat when she realized it was Kyungsoo standing next to her. Her hands trembled as she reached for a book on the shelf, which was several centimeters higher than her head. As a result, the book fell from her hands. Even worse, it landed on Kyungsoo's foot.

Like!

"Shit!"

Hyesoo hurriedly picked up the Indonesian Dictionary that had fallen on Kyungsoo's leg. Her stomach immediately felt nauseous. "Eh, sorry. I apologize," she said, bowing her head like a Japanese person.

After her head ached from bending over repeatedly, she finally looked up and found Kyungsoo staring intently at her. Hyesoo bit her lip in panic. "Sorry, I was--"

"Yes, oh my gosh yes. You're saying sorry again, I'm the one who dropped the KBBI book on your feet." Kyungsoo's voice sounded annoyed. This made Hyesoo immediately nod obediently. "Be careful, okay?" The boy glanced at her briefly before turning away and leaving the library.

Hyesoo's body immediately slumped to the floor after confirming that her senior was gone. Really. Phew. She exhaled loudly. How could she have come face to face with Doh Kyungsoo on her first day of school?

It wasn't about anything. But, her new friend had been gossiping with her this morning that Kyungsoo was one of their seniors who shouldn't get into trouble with her.

Hyesoo didn't really care at first. But after what happened earlier... It seems she needs to pray more.
