Episode 7: A Heart Engulfed in Moonlight

That morning, Noah woke up to a voice.

"what?"

The voice continued to linger around Noah.

"Come into the forest, and I'll make you stronger."

Noah was half-doubting, but he headed into the forest, thinking that if he got stronger, he could protect his friends.

Noah walked alone through the forest, shrouded in thick fog. The moonlight felt unusually bright and colder than usual.

"What is this... moonlight?" Noah said, shivering.

Suddenly, the air became heavy, and a mysterious voice whispered in his ear.

"Noah, your power is not yet complete. Come to me. The more you resist, the more your suffering will deepen."

Noah shrank back and shook his head.

"I... I won't succumb to that darkness. This power is mine."

But a warm, yet cold, air seeped through the fog.
His heart began to waver.

"I can give you everything you want... your pain, your fear... it will all disappear."

A subtle change occurred on Noah's face as he closed his eyes.

"Why... why is it so comfortable...?"

Just then, Doina and Lian came running out of the forest under the moonlight.

"Noah! Wake up! That's a trap!" Doina shouted.

But Noah slowly turned his head and answered in a low, cold voice.

"You don't know... what this power means... I am now moonlight itself."

At a moment when light and darkness clashed violently within Noah, his friends prepared to fight to save him.
