Hamin said with a serious expression.
“Let’s… break up..”
Flie said, flustered by Hamin’s sudden breakup announcement.
”Huh? What? You’re… kidding, right?”
But Hamin said with a face devoid of laughter.
“A joke? No… let’s stop. I know I’m being selfish, but I think I have to go abroad… let’s end this. I don’t have the courage to come back and meet you again.”
Flie shook her head as if she couldn’t understand and said.
“What does that have to do with us?”
Hamin didn’t answer. He looked down at Flie and continued irritably.
“It probably has nothing to do with you. You’d probably think all you have to do is wait, but I’m different. Go meet a better man than me.”
Flie only shook her head listlessly and said.
“Please… Hamin.. just once more, please think about it one more time.“
Hamin ran a hand through his hair and said.
“The 3 years we spent together.. weren’t bad. No.. they were good. I really did love you too. But now, I think breaking up is the right answer for both you and me.“
Hamin finished speaking, looked down at Flie once more, and said coldly.
”I’m really sorry.. then this is goodbye.“
Flie stood there, frozen in place.
”Okay… I get it. Hamin.. thank you.“
Flie steadied herself and headed home, walking down the road in the opposite direction from where Hamin had gone.

I thought that would be the last breakup between you and me. No… I desperately wished it would be a breakup.
But to think we’d meet again like this..

.
“Could we meet again?”
