“It’s the first day… I can’t be late!!”
I got on the hell subway, but as expected, there was no avoiding the phenomenon of my body getting squished like jam between slices of bread. I was barely trying to get out when a man was blocking my way.
“Um… could you please move for just a moment?”
I carefully tapped his shoulder and said. When he didn’t budge at all, I hurriedly stepped closer to him and said.

That was when it happened. The subway lurched hard once, and people lost their balance and fell over one another. Unluckily enough, one of them was me.

In a panic, I grabbed the man’s hand. Thanks to that, I didn’t fall, but the sudden grab left both me and the man flustered. I quickly let go and said.

I kept apologizing over and over, bowing my head. The man looked down at me and said.
”You said you needed to get off.“
Only then did I realize I was the one who needed to get off, and I snapped my head up.

At that moment, the two of us froze in place as if our bodies had turned to ice.

He also looked at me and said.
“You… no way, are you Fly?”
Everyone turned their eyes to us all at once. I cleared my throat and said.
“Long time no see. I didn’t want to see you again, though..”
Just then the subway doors opened, and I passed him and got off. He stared blankly at methen followed me off.
“Why? Why are you following me?”
I said sharply and walked on, whether he followed me or not. He shot back as if he wasn’t about to lose.
“Who’s following you? I’m from Sanghwi University.”
At that, I turned and looked at him.
“What?? What university?”
As I suddenly stopped, he skidded to a halt close to me, like slamming on the brakes, and said.
“Damn it. What are you doing stopping all of a sudden like that? I almost ran into you. It’s Seonghwi University.”
