I'll wait for you tomorrow

Episode 9) Your and my secret. 2

But the heroine knew.

What she wanted

wasn’t to pretend not to know.

“Don’t take so long next time.”

The heroine remembered those words and let out a small laugh.

“…Idiot.”

Even while saying that.

Tears welled up in her eyes again.

After agonizing over it for a long time,

she finally started entering the number.

0 1 0

Her fingers stopped.

“…Have you lost your mind?”

The heroine hurriedly turned off the screen.

And threw her phone onto the bed.

But before a few seconds had passed,

she picked up her phone again.

She looked at the number once more.

And this time.. she entered it all the way to the end.

010-****-****

She agonized over it a lot in the middle.

She carefully pressed each number, one by one.

“Taehyun…”

Looking at Taehyun’s contact info,

she tried softly calling his name.

The heroine stared at the empty message box for a long time.

And slowly typed in the words.

[Thank you for today…]

She paused for a moment.

Deleted it.

Wrote it again.

[How have you been?]

Deleted it again.

And the last sentence left.

[I… waited a lot too]

The heroine looked at that sentence and

bit her lip tightly.

She placed her finger over the send button.

But,

she couldn’t bring herself to press it.

How many minutes passed like that..?

The heroine squeezed her eyes shut and

pressed send with trembling hands.

Sent.

10 seconds.

20 seconds.

No reply came.

The heroine felt needlessly disappointed.

But then,

ding.

[I know too]

The heroine froze in place.

A moment later, a second message came.

[I thought… you’d be like that, noona]

On the heroine’s face,

a small smile spread.

And a third message.

[So this time, don’t run away, noona.

Even if you go, go with me.]

The heroine stared at the screen for a long time.

“…Yeah.”

she answered very softly.

“This time, I won’t run away.”

That night,

between the two of them,

the time that had been standing still,

began to move again.
